Maybe it depends on what a good father is.

My mom has eight siblings, so nine children total and they all seemed to love their father and always said good things about him. He didn't speak much, but you could tell he cared. He was kind and gentle to the grand kids at least.

He worked, came home for dinner, back to work.

I'm fairly sure you can't really compare being a father of 9 in the 1940s to a father of 9 in 2024, especially more so if you factor in cultural nuance.

I use x way more now.

It’s like the rated R version of TikTok lol.

The same videos that get blurred out or cut on TikTok are completely uncensored on x.

I barely ever used twitter before other than for breaking news. But now breaking news is kinda everywhere instantly.

I use whatever is entertaining. And x entertainment levels have gone up tremendously.

Though I’m still on insta and TikTok more.

Explains your politics. Everything is so predictable.

What a great story between a dad and son and an old Supra.

Yeah, that's a fair point.

Go to this spot fairly often, Yasser is a fucking gem, love that dude. I'll always run into a random old lady in there that comments on my tattoos :lol

Badhobz 08-10-2024 09:50 AM

Maybe he was a cook. :troll:

Observantly, this sort of military paraphernalia is more openly worn in the US. I find it a bit interesting when I'm visiting family in LA/OC, and you see older white guys who have their Vietnam Vet caps and they are in a shopping centre or restaurant full of Vietnamese people.

Badhobz 08-11-2024 10:26 AM

Hey we sprayed agent orange all over your country causing birth defects but I still want my bowl of pho !!! God bless America

Manic! 08-11-2024 05:27 PM

Had a customer come in telling the the lotto is rigged. So I ask him why do you play it. His answer: He is an idiot.

PeanutButter 08-11-2024 08:53 PM

Hey, how open are you guys with your best friend/s?

We went to a kids birthday party (2y.o). If you've never been to a kids birthday before, it's not the most fun. It's a bunch of kids running around, crying, and most of the parents are not around because they're shadowing their kids.

Anyway, the host's best friend, Mark didn't show up even though he confirmed prior. Mark messaged John (the host) around 8pm tonight saying he was on a plane and apologized for not showing up. John was a little perturbed because Mark didn't tell him he was going on vacation and Mark didn't give him a heads up he wasn't coming.

Would any of you communicate this frustration with your best friend? If it were me, I'd probably just let it go, but the wife said John should just tell Mark how he's feeling.

Badhobz 08-11-2024 09:14 PM

Who gives a shit. Bai.

If you feel perturbed you’re a little bitch

Fuck you and your trash ass kids party

Call me when you’re dying in Kamloops ala evofire. Then I’ll come drive 5h and magically find out you’re not dying

roastpuff 08-11-2024 09:21 PM

That's some kind of shitty best friend if you ghost your friend like that

winson604 08-11-2024 10:37 PM

It sounds like this may be typical Mark behavior and when it happened shouldn't have shocked anyone. If I'm wrong and this was very unlike Mark I'd just chalk it up to him having a reason for example he had to leave in a hurry and may have had a lot on his plate dealing up shit last minute and it just slipped his mind to let John know. Either situation I'd just be like ah wells whatever. Even if it was a situation where I needed firm headcounts ahead of time because you had to lay per head for something I.e. laser tag and bnw I'm out money I'd still be like yea whatever.

CivicBlues 08-11-2024 10:49 PM

Not shitty best friend behavior

It's shitty human behavior...anyways Mark should have come up with an excuse earlier if he didn't wanna go to a shitty kids party lol

no... i've always been like this, with or without social media. I was calling feminists, feminazi's 20+ years ago on RS. and blasting super hippy dippy "acceptance" stuff. There was just no general label for all that type of thinking back then. before the woke, before the red pill shit, before the mens rights movement shit. 20+ years ago I was already saying the same shit.

If anything, anyone that had no opinion back then, and has one now, are the ones that got brain washed.

why do you think I got banned so many times? and come back from the ban so many times LOL... the internet has not changed.
