Welp ... at least you won't have to stop at a train crossings for a while if it is on your commute route. Badhobz ... be a hero and hammer out a settlement. Get it done! |
Not my department. Deltaport is only finishing this one last vessel and then ka blamo! Total stand still. GG Canadian economy. I hope the brass at CN and CP stop being such a cheap motherfucker and just give these boys their money so we can all continue on with our lives. |
Even though you are no longer in the rail industry, the world is relying on you to solve Canada's problems, Badhobz. Best of luck. :alone: |
At what point do you think Turd will step in and mandate them back to work? Having dealt with the port strike earlier this year, and with an election coming up next year, you'd think Turd might have learned a thing or two from the last incident, and make an effort to score some political points. But so far, it seems like he isn't even trying to make an effort to win that next election. |

Good on any workers that actually have support to get what they want. I’m Not a union person in the least after my previous experiences but if you’ve got it and you pay dues, hopefully you’ve got some leverage. |
Why are all your political names so fecal? |
Pierre Poopooface wouldn't let this happen |
Rail strike going to Binding Arbitration ...thanks Badhobz for your role in this. I didn't have time to stock up on toilet paper. |
I’m just sitting at home playing legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom. I think there’s like 120 unread emails regarding strike, customers losing their shit, containers grounded, detention charged, etc etc etc. Shut the fuck up, I’m trying to build a super gunboat in game. |

Latest news about the Labour Minister imposing binding arbitration to end the rail dispute. MacKinnon said that he would impose back to work legislation if work stoppage continues beyond the binding arbitration. Global News: The federal government will intervene to try and bring an end to the labour dispute that brought Canada’s rail network to a grinding halt Thursday, Labour Minister Steve MacKinnon said. Speaking in Ottawa less than 24 hours after thousands of unionized workers at the country’s two main railway companies were locked out, McKinnon said he will use his powers under the Canada Labour Code to “secure industrial peace” and impose final, binding arbitration. The minister said the action will help Canadian National Railway (CN), Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) and the Teamsters Canada Railway Conference (TCRC) union settle outstanding terms in their negotiations for a new collective agreement that he said have reached a “fundamental impasse.” “These collective bargaining negotiations belong to CN Rail, CPKC and TCRC alone – but their effects, and the impacts of the current impasse, are being borne by all Canadians,” MacKinnon told reporters. He said he has also directed the Canada Industrial Relations Board to extend the term of the current collective agreement until a deal is reached, and for rail operations to resume as soon as that is achieved. Asked if he would impose back-to-work legislation if the work stoppage continues despite the binding arbitration, with reporters referencing the recent example of the WestJet strike, MacKinnon said he would. |

Thanks rail strike! I was able to finally finish tears of the kingdom. Not a bad game. Story is kinda lame but whatever gameplay was fun. Building those insane constructs was hilarious |
