How is it that the cars/people with all the driving assists are the shittiest drivers? The car probably gave the clown ample warning of what was happening.

I am not used to having a dash cam so I totally didn't think of pulling the footage, but I was in Tacoma from Friday->Sunday and when I was just getting close to the hotel Friday night I was waiting to turn right in my Supra and the traffic started moving but then stopped again suddenly for a pedestrian... barely moving but still jam on the brakes and somehow this fuckin Ford Focus sedan behind me from 10km/h reacts late and went completely perpendicular sideways behind me/just missed piling into me from behind.
How does a car have such bad tires and brakes that it turns sideways slamming brakes on at 10km/h?!?! Yes the ground was wet but what the actual fuck?

I'm the type that would rather wake my ass up early and go somewhere when they open first thing to avoid as much vehicle and people traffic as possible. She would rather sleep in be lazy throughout the day and then choose to run the same errand in the afternoon and often bumps up into afternoon rush hour on the way back then complain but it's like you made the choice yourself lol.

I'm gonna bet that's a lie since it looked like he tried to beat your BIL before cutting in... otherwise he would have changed lanes earlier, if he truly didn't notice your BIL's car.
Either way though, if he really can't cars that are literally in the adjacent lane, that's an even bigger problem and should have his DL stripped.

Man, I was on vacation for two weeks and just came back to all this shit you guys been talking about in my absence lol. The most appalling being the hate towards Chinese food. Y'all been eating the wrong stuff if that's how you truly feel about our cuisine.
Oh and PB, for reference, I'm 40 and unmarried. Did I feel some internal pressure to get it done in my 30's? Yes. But in the end, if you're looking to have kids, it's more about your wife's age than it is yours as a guy. Your friend doesn't need to rush it for some mainlander bitch who cares more about draining his account than being a decent life partner. It already sounds doomed to fail and ESPECIALLY if he's dumb enough to do all of this without a prenup. Come to think of it, have him discuss that exact topic with her before popping the question. I did a little mini food tour for my family while they were in town
Admiralty Centre:
Kam Ho (beef brisket noodle, zha jeung noodle)
Lao Wei Dao (XLB and Pan fried buns)
RPM:
Hei Hei Rice Noodles (got the beef and prawn one)
Peanuts BBT
Taiwanese stinky tofu (admittedly too strong for my tastes lol)
HK BBQ master:
BBQ pork, roasted pork, roasted duck on rice
Aberdeen food court:
literally just look around because we had way too much food already lol
Overall, I think they enjoyed everything. Much better than your standard brunch/lunch at a single place experience. Richmond has long been known as a food city and especially so when it comes to asian foods.

I have gotten so many of my friends hooked on Kam Ho (even non-asian friends!). It's legitimately the best beef brisket noodle (HK style) I've ever had in all of BC.
