Nissan should just shut down Infiniti. There's nothing there but a zombie corpse of a business.

Dunno, a nail just managed to get itself right between the tread blocks. And they were pretty worn at the point anyways.

So the internet and specifically Chris fix is a fucking liar. I wasn’t able to successfully plug the tire while it’s still on the car. I called bcaa and this 30 year veteran of the industry came and laughed at me.

He gave me some really good tips that ultimately made it successful.

1- take off the flat tire from the car stupid. Almost very little chance to do a proper tire plug while the tire is still on the car because the weight of the car on the deflated tire will make the hole deformed and likely unable to seal properly.

2- it’s easier when there is some air in the tire. Ideally if it’s still pissing out air then you insert the plug.

3- use some soapy water and spray the plug. If you have rubber cement even better

4- make sure that hole is reamed properly. Aka big enough. Make it as big as possible for you to insert

5- use your entire body weight to push that sucker in. That’s why there is no way to do it from the ground. You just can’t get enough leverage.

I’ve never plugged a tire before. This is my first.

Stupid Chris fix video I watched didn’t help. He did it with the tire still on the car.

Nice. I've never used my plug kit, but I'm just as retarded as you that I for sure would've tried to do this while it's on the car lol.

I just emailed myself your instructions for reference, thanks for posting!

ive done it when its on the car several times before, never had an issue except just getting good leverage to ream the hole and put the plug in is harder. if you have a drill it makes everything 10x easier rather than using the shitty $1 reaming tool

The other part of it is that it takes quite a bit of force to jam the plug in, so having it off the car so you can push straight down into the tire gives you better leverage on it.

The thing is, you probably don't have an air compressor handy (especially if you don't know how to plug a tire) so at that point you need it off to go put air in it anyways.

nuh huh! the hell I don't! i got one of these little suckers and it works great. The BCAA man even said this thing was awesome.

https://www.costco.ca/cat-lithium-cu...000149922.html

he also told me that once the plug is in, it should last the lifetime of the tire so no need to get a patch behind it. Especially since its in the meaty part of the tire

Thats exactly it. he said the hole wasn't big enough, I needed to ream it out some more.

He also stated it's almost impossible to lay on your side and put enough weight onto the tire to get the plug in properly unless you REALLY REALLY reamed that hole big. In order to do that, the crappy Canadian tire... uhh tire kit.. isn't adequate. Need a proper reamer tool that has like a drill like head to it.

Every, walked by 2 different pharmacies and they had it, walk in's, no apt necessary. Shoppers for sure, forgot the other. I'm pretty sure they all get the serum at the same time.

I was just at Save-On, Park and Tilford, North Van. holy shit what a gang of old people in the pharmacy area, waiting. I hope I don't get that age.

Nissan might need to shut down Nissan too. The "new" Murano is just a heavily refreshed version of a 10 year old Murano.

Nissan’s overhaul of its lineup is in full swing and has finally reached its aging midsizer. As has been the case with some of its recently refreshed kin, though, the 2025 Nissan Murano gets a nice makeover rather than a total replacement.

400Z is nothing but the Q60 engine in the 370Z chassis... Nissan is cooked.

Selling Rogues to the pubic and to Mitsubishi as the Outlander are the only thing keeping them alive here.

And isn't the 370Z chassis just a revised 350Z? I'm all for sticking with what works but that's a long time.

Is that really so bad though?

Ford did it with the Mustang and it turned out pretty good.

And cars like the G35 and Xterra are timeless classics especially. If Nissan had just kept redesigning the interior and updating stuff, I bet they would've sold like hotcakes. Adding stuff like wireless CarPlay / AA, acoustic glass, panoramic moonroofs, adaptive dampers, adaptive LED headlights, DCT, direct injection, plug-in hybridization.

G35 timeless?! lol. The ultimate buddy guy fart into a trumpet mobile. Those cars have suffered the same fate as the Altima did by the opposite sex. The yin and yang of crashing into things after 8 drinks. The sunfire/cavalier of Gen Z and young millenials.

I used to be a huge Nissan fanboy. Now I can’t even remotely justify any of their products. Who even bought a new GTR in the last 5 years ?! I don’t know anyone.

It was like 70k when it came out back in what ? 2008? And now it’s like 180k for the base GTR. Not even the nismo. Are they out of their friggin minds ?!
