We just came back from HK. The observation we had were, the China chicks aren't of the same quality as Vancouver. Walking in TST and there was really only 1/100 that looked good. And the whole rosy eye blush thing is weird.

And holy shit the China kids have terrible manners. The local kids are actually courteous and knows to share, the fucking China kids shoved my not even 2 year old to get to a button on the wall she was playing with. I proceeded to human wall blocked the kid out next time he approached. Another kid shoved my son as well, and the whole thing was :fulloffuck:

HKers aren't known as being super courteous, but they definitely have no problem queueing up for things. That's the main way Mainland visitors will stand out. If there's a line for something, and if there's an inch available near the front, they will try to take it. And then others try to fit in, and it ends up being a huge jam, with pushing and shoving. Happens for EVERYTHING.

^my friend, just do 50 push ups and 50 squats daily, and you won't need the walking pad. Save you some money.

If you install a pull up bar too and can get up to 50 per day on that, your life will be set.

I'd recommend against the walking pad, I've tried it and it's extremely distracting. Or I just have really poor balance and need to split my mind off to think about the walking bit.

I did do the standing for a long time during covid, but I found when I really needed to think, I would need to sit down.

I read a study that standing desk are just as bad as sitting if you stand all day. A walking mat will mitigate that but as evofire said, depends how distracting it can be for you.

Yeah you're not supposed to stand all day if you have a standing desk.
