I bought a Cat 8 ethernet cable from AliExpress - $1.79 for 0.5m lol. I was curious what the wifi speed difference would be by just changing cables. The Telus supplied yellow cable is a Cat 5e. The difference is shockingly significant, the results below:
Realistically, there's not much of a difference on a day to day basis, but when gaming I no longer get ping spikes (there's usually the latency warning that pops up often).

Post offices will start to open up Tuesday. No commercial parcels for 48 hours. They need this extra time to “ramp up,” operations.
I went to the distribution centre on Douglas Road and Still Creek to deliver some cookies and treats. The union member who was in charge hinted they wouldn’t be complying to the back to work order. I’m like, okay, that’s being stupid. You’ll even lose my support if that happens. Typical union hack, though. I’m pretty sure most of the union members want to get this over with. It’ll be interesting if Canada Post acts in good faith.
Just to clarify, I'm not pro-union. Far from it, but that never stopped me from being nice to others. I've been on the picket lines myself, and it's awful. Being told to fuck off, having shit thrown my way, you name it. I think most people have been civil about it, but online is another story. I miss my letter carrier. He's like the nicest person you'll ever meet. Same with the post office lady at the local Shoppers. Although she's a Shoppers Drug Mart employee, she used to work for Canada Post.
