North Van, Park&Tilford.

3 beers, $30.(because tip)

I'm not allowed burgers because triple bypass.

In case anyone is buying parts for their Euro car, I have a $20 off coupon if your spend is over $150 on Pelican Parts. PM me for the code.

Disclaimer: Parts may be cheaper elsewhere, and the US/CAD exchange is not favourable to us, but thought I throw it out there just in case.

Edit: Does anyone use Displayport for their monitor? I've come across some bad cables on Amazon and hoping if someone could make a recommendation on which brands have been flicker-free.

I was thinking the Poco Sunwood Square location. $11.99 for cheeseburger with fries.

It's more like a sit down restaurant burger and not like a fast food burger.

Stuff from PrimeCables.ca has never let me down, and they have very good prices too -- at least for cables of any kind. I think you can get some kickbacks by going through Rakuten first, and then use their link to go to PrimeCables.

punkwax 12-30-2024 05:56 AM

Ouch.. I always sous vide on a silicone mat/pot holder just to be safe.

Traum - Thanks for the lead.

Do you have a referral code for PrimeCables? I think you get a referral rebate. PM me. Thanks! :)

Question about a carfax report. I'm looking at one for a car that has about 88,000 kms on it. First 35,000 kms or so, consistent, regular dealer maintained service. But then it's blank or silent for the last 50,000 kms. What are some possible reasons for this, is seller trying to hide something? Or did he go off grid and did all service himself/herself?

bcrdukes 12-30-2024 08:06 AM

Chances are the seller went off grid and DIY'd.

Consider how many owners have been through the car, and whether or not the sell has a documented list of maintenance such as receipts etc.

I think for your own safety too, does the name of the seller match the ICBC ownership registration. Otherwise, the risk is the seller is a curber and/or hasn't done any maintenance hahaha :(

whitev70r 12-30-2024 08:09 AM

It's at an off brand dealer actually so hopefully, some of those concerns of legitimacy has been taken care of.

bcrdukes 12-30-2024 08:13 AM

I am looking forward to your post in the "Latest Pic of Your Whip" thread. :D

Lots of Indy's aren't in that network or are new to that network. Carfax creates more confusion than it alleviates in lots of circumstances. PPI is more valuable than history IMO if it's from the right shop.

Prime cables is a good choice, I go the lazier Amazon route and had no problems with Cable Matters DP cables.

HonestTea 12-30-2024 02:52 PM

Anyone been to Gotham's recently? Still good?

Badhobz 12-30-2024 02:57 PM

Not since the riddler took over.

If the car was maintained not be the dealer but by someone else, chances are it won't show up. Not even the dealers always report.
