FYI I bought that kirkland stearn and foster queen bed, very comfy but that mattress is heavy AF cause high quality.

Thanks guys. I've put my buddy on notice, but if a spanish speaking hobz can do it himself, I feel like I should give it a shot. I can't imagine doing a king size by yourself though, that's actually impressive.

It's just faster and easier if I can do it myself.

6793026 clicks add friend for Peanutbutter

Peanutbutter clicks deny and block

spoon.ek9 01-06-2025 12:27 PM

Friend request purgatory is better, feelings less hurt that way :lol

Maybe you should consider investing the $175 difference in a gym membership

Task Rabbit if your buddy doesn't come through. You can def get some dude to do it with you on the cheap.

YEAH but you don't know,

plus unless you're decked out in COSTCO swagoo, you wont have the physical fortitude to roll a twenty-sided die to slay the mattress god

Manic! 01-06-2025 02:09 PM

Costco will help you load. Just ask someone on the floor.

My V6 is still holding on so that's what I've been using for cordless.

If I were to change, I would look at the Shark Stratos since I keep reading how unreliable the newer Dysons are.

I'm using a Dyson V8. I've had it for the last 5 years and it's pretty good. I have all hardwood floors so it doesn't use that much power - one charge gets me the entire main floor and my room (~ 1500 sqft?).

I got a Tineco Floor One S5 from a coworker for pretty cheap in 2024. If I had to buy one device all over again, it would be this. It's a wet-dry vacuum. Self propels so my folks like it. It vacuums and mops pretty decently - again hardwood floors so pretty straightforward. It has a lot more suck than the Dyson tho.

Badhobz 01-07-2025 02:38 AM

Dyson v11 or was it v12 ? It doesn’t matter. I bought it from Costco. I’m on my third one now since they keep crapping out after a few years. No problem cuz it Costco.

red kryptonite 01-07-2025 07:03 AM

ya! i find dyson are such a hit or miss. my v3 lasted 2 years and my current v7 lasted 4.

i hear hoovers are pretty good and this one is on sale right now at ct

Badhobz 01-07-2025 07:06 AM

why so difficult!?

just keep buying dysons and when they crap out, and they will, just return them to Costco and grab a new one. The motor / battery is new and it'll give you another few years of SUCKING POWAH.

Hondaracer 01-07-2025 07:10 AM

I’m with Hobz, just buy from Costco it’s the Perfect item to buy from there

Regardless of make it’s eventually going to crap out it’s just the nature of a vacuum

red kryptonite 01-07-2025 08:00 AM

Hmmm maybe it’s finally time I join the ranks and become a Costco member
Fuck me, should’ve joined during Black Friday for the $100 gc

Badhobz 01-07-2025 08:03 AM

that or just borrow a family's membership and buy it on their account. when it craps out, just get them to help out and grab you another one.

RabidRat 01-07-2025 08:49 AM

How long is the Costco warranty supposed to actually be? The language on the website is super vague.

Hondaracer 01-07-2025 08:55 AM

For….ev….er…..

Honestly if you don’t abuse it they will almost never push back on a return regardless of the timeframe

For my own personal pride I probably wouldn’t return some stupid shit 10 years later, but if you buy a $800 Dyson and it blows up after 3 years I think that’s pretty reasonable to return

bcrdukes 01-07-2025 09:29 AM

I'm going to cancel my Costco membership.

Unless he looks like the other person, that's a no go. Scanners upon entrance, plus cashiers will be like, "WTF?"

Unless you're Dukes and the other RS member who's like his twin............. actually, all asians look the same, gulolololol.

My son actually pays for his stuff using my spare card at self checkout. We both go in together, though. My other son has the secondary card, so he's okay. One of the perks for getting Executive Membership.

EDIT: I go to Costco quite often. I've never seen anyone getting busted for trying to get in with someone else's card.

Hondaracer 01-07-2025 10:28 AM

They don’t have anything at the front to check it’s the actual person whether you scan the card or not. Not really even sure if they are checking at the till because it’s not like the register has a screen capable of showing your membership picture

Traum 01-07-2025 10:34 AM

I don't recommend lending / borrowing someone else's Costco card, but in the last few months when I'm at Costco, nobody has ever compared my ugly mug to the low quality photo on the card. Not at the front entrance where I need to beep my card, and not at the (self) checkout where I may or may not be assisted by a Costco staff.
