We are on our second one. Our V7 Animal was still working after 6 years, but the battery was not holding a lot of charge and cannot run max power at all. I gave it to a friend when we bought the V15 so he could mod it to run on Dewalt batteries The laser brush that came with the V15 ultimate or whatever the fuck it was called is amazing. Bought it last Christmas when we were talking about the whole rakuten rebate thing. I think it came to under $700 after tax. |
Laser brush? We have a V8 Absolute, it’s now on one of those Chinese Amazon batteries but it’s still going great, I’d definitely buy another Dyson |

A good shopping experience to me is getting in and out of a place in 30 mins flat. Costco guarantees none of that. p.s. Just realized this isn't even the Costco thread. Now we got two of these going now? ffs! Don't @ me Hobz :nerd: |
It costs more if you order it online. I just started going 30 mins before they close, there's nobody around and I can be out in 25 mins. |
@@@@@@ you guangdong bastard @@@@@@ half the fun is watching their customer service reps look like defeated human automatons when they see my fat ass roll up with a cart full of return/broken/trash items. if you dont enjoy watching human misery at its finest, then youre too well adjusted to be my friend. ^or as underscore says, just go when the immigrants arent there. Or better yet, go to a location where there is little to no immigrants. You want a huge migraine and fight people in a parking lot? richmond costco's the best for that Go to downtown costco if you want a more hassle free experience as most china fucks are too cheap to pay the 2 dollar parking. Although they have a way more limited selection. Pus side is they have costco sushi!!! and i was able to pickup a tiramisu scoop cake today (they had like 10 of them). |
One of my friends exclusively goes in on a Saturday afternoon to join the height of the chaos in Richmond - he then proceeds to navigate past every single aisle like it's mandatory. He enjoys it but I think it's lunacy. I usually go on a weekday evening and can get in and out of Costco warehouse within 30 minutes shopping for myself - I know what I need from there and don't browse the aisles. Most of the time I just bring a tote bag if I can't carry everything by hand. I'm usually cheap for parking but don't mind paying $2 for downtown costco for covered parking and wider spaces. I also just tried Costco same day via instacart and will likely keep using the service if I need a non-perishable somewhat urgent. It was just nice to order what I need online and have it delivered same-day to my doorstep. |
Lol who's a guangdong bastard? I'm a mutt. Also aren't cantos the main demographic that love Costcos? I did go to the downtown one on Saturday. Still a shitshow, even more so with the added benefit of having to elbow your way through methed-out skids to navigate yourself in. Still wouldn't try and park in any of the suburban Costcos though. That's just a no from me bro. |

dem meth heads arent out of bed yet and no lineup at returns and/or food court. |
My two stores are Willingdon and Downtown. Imo Willingdon is way better than downtown the majority of the time Wed/Thur between 4 and 6 are prime |
Go to Richmond in the morning on the weekends. It's super chill, tons of parking. Get out before the lunch rush and there's barely any lineups for paying People don't get up that early in the demographics that store serves. |
fuck it, i'm up at 11am on weekends these days. Fuckin' daylight savings /s |
^ I got kids, they are up by 7:30am |

I don't even want to go to either Costco stores after 11am on the weekend. |
Half you fucks WFH anyways, go in the afternoon on a weekday at like 1ish. Easy. |

I always make a joke to the women manning the scanners. I point to the monitor and say, "Good looking guy, right?" They chuckle. This one Filipino woman knows me, beats me to it and says, "Welcome, good looking," gulolol. There was a time, where I had to go to the bathroom ASAP. My son went to pay and they questioned him. He told them I was indisposed.............. I waved and he was good to go. |

My biggest peeve about the Dyson is that it doesn't have an "ON" button. You have to hold the trigger. You can't beat their suction though. If I had carpet, Dyson for sure. If it's hard flooring, I'd buy a tineco wet/dry with two batteries. |
