We are on our second one. Our V7 Animal was still working after 6 years, but the battery was not holding a lot of charge and cannot run max power at all. I gave it to a friend when we bought the V15 so he could mod it to run on Dewalt batteries
The laser brush that came with the V15 ultimate or whatever the fuck it was called is amazing.
Bought it last Christmas when we were talking about the whole rakuten rebate thing. I think it came to under $700 after tax.

We have a V8 Absolute, it’s now on one of those Chinese Amazon batteries but it’s still going great, I’d definitely buy another Dyson

It basically tells you how dirty your floor is. The V15 also tracks the different sized particles that it has sucked up which kind of gamifies it a little.

It costs more if you order it online. I just started going 30 mins before they close, there's nobody around and I can be out in 25 mins.

Go to downtown costco if you want a more hassle free experience as most china fucks are too cheap to pay the 2 dollar parking. Although they have a way more limited selection. Pus side is they have costco sushi!!! and i was able to pickup a tiramisu scoop cake today (they had like 10 of them).

One of my friends exclusively goes in on a Saturday afternoon to join the height of the chaos in Richmond - he then proceeds to navigate past every single aisle like it's mandatory. He enjoys it but I think it's lunacy.
I usually go on a weekday evening and can get in and out of Costco warehouse within 30 minutes shopping for myself - I know what I need from there and don't browse the aisles. Most of the time I just bring a tote bag if I can't carry everything by hand. I'm usually cheap for parking but don't mind paying $2 for downtown costco for covered parking and wider spaces.
I also just tried Costco same day via instacart and will likely keep using the service if I need a non-perishable somewhat urgent. It was just nice to order what I need online and have it delivered same-day to my doorstep.

I did go to the downtown one on Saturday. Still a shitshow, even more so with the added benefit of having to elbow your way through methed-out skids to navigate yourself in.
Still wouldn't try and park in any of the suburban Costcos though. That's just a no from me bro.

My two stores are Willingdon and Downtown. Imo Willingdon is way better than downtown the majority of the time
Wed/Thur between 4 and 6 are prime

Go to Richmond in the morning on the weekends. It's super chill, tons of parking. Get out before the lunch rush and there's barely any lineups for paying
People don't get up that early in the demographics that store serves.

I've been to both the Still Creek store and the Richmond store on the weekends in the past few months at different times, and my conclusion is -- the Richmond customers are lazy bastards that sleep in. If you get there before 10am, esp on a Sunday, it is likely there'll still be parking in the on-site lots. Still Creek has normal people for customers, and the parking lot starts filling up by 9:30am.
I don't even want to go to either Costco stores after 11am on the weekend.

My biggest peeve about the Dyson is that it doesn't have an "ON" button. You have to hold the trigger. You can't beat their suction though. If I had carpet, Dyson for sure. If it's hard flooring, I'd buy a tineco wet/dry with two batteries.

No need to hold it down anymore
