I found a case of TikTok censorship. You can't search anything with the word "Hitler" in it. So, my weekday routine is to roll out of bed at 7:30 am to take my meds. Then, I go back to sleep. I usually go to bed at around 2:00 to 4:00 am. Lots of power naps. Anyway, I need something, an incentive to get up. I started listening to 70's on 7 on SiriusXM. 9:00 am, our time, this chick, Lisa Evans comes on to host the show. Such a calming voice. She broadcasts from Edmonton, Alberta, so lots of Canadian content there. This morning, she mentioned something about the origin of the group's name, Steely Dan. Hey guys, if you guys are going to a hotel in Parksville and they make you pay a $25 resort fee that covers your use of the pool and free valet parking... Are you tipping the valet drivers? and if so, how much? It's crazy that this hotel even has a resort fee. I've never heard of a resort fee outside of Las Vegas. Apparently there is a self park option that is free across the street. If you don't want to tip is it better to just self park? I feel jipped if I don't use the valet, but you have to tip valet right? I don't use valet often, but the times I do, I feel obliged to tip. I feel like $5 is the minimum tip since you're not going to give them change. Any thoughts on this? |
resort fees just mean they can advertise a lower room rate, similar to airlines, but the true cost is room + resort fee + taxes. It doesn't actually mean you're at a resort lol |
