I had a great time at stupid fuckers U. You guys remember that hedge row box they used to have next to the cripple guy statue ? Me and this Scottish chick would go in there and see if we could wank off without getting caught. She’s quite a freak… god I miss dem sfu sluts. That’s the only reason to get a history degree. The girls are freaks in liberal arts. Girls in engineering must have dusty, chapped cunts. I wouldn’t know, I only porked arts majors and business majors. Now I’m stuck with this angry umaru looking spy ballooon !!! Arrrghh all my venomous sperm is wasted. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/2b/49...80df6cdde7.gif |

Spoiler! |
So I ended up going to The Keg for DOV. They're always consistent so it's a go to once in awhile anyways. DOV ends tonight btw so maybe some of y'all can squeeze in a dinner tonight. $55 Appetizer 10oz Prime Rib (or 8oz sirloin) Billy Miner Pie or Cheesecake The BMP was a HUGE slice. I guess I'm just used to the birthday freebie size because this thing was fuckin' DOUBLE the size of that. The cheesecake was also pretty good quality we found. OH! Today I had the Maple Bacon Cheeseburger from Save On. It's $2 more so $13.99 but oooooo boy it was well worth that $2! The bacon was good quality, crispy and not the paper thin bullshit they serve at Mcd's etc. The maple sauce added a nice sweetness to the overall savoury experience. We also tried the Funguy Cheeseburger (not a typo), also $13.99 but the Maple Bacon is where it's at. Give it a try boys SeemsGood |
next week saturday we will be there!!!!! |
oh sick, I didn't realize you guys set a date for it. 99% chance I can make it. edit: shit, I guess that means I better clean the EF. |
No need to clean. Geriatrics can barely clean themselves let alone their cars okay. Plus it’ll be covered in salt and grime in two seconds. Why bother. Dirtier the better for this meat. https://www.revscene.net/forums/7179...ml#post9165144 |
Yeah I know, but I've been dying to clean the damn car anyways lol. This just gives me a good excuse to actually do it. |

did you take a course with Gerolymatos or Clossey? |
Which antiseize do you guys use for your wheels? Thinking of buying some. I was removing a wheel the other day and my hubcentric rings rusted onto the wheel hub, so I had to chisel it out. There's a few different ones on Amazon like copper, silver, and aluminum. I'm guessing probably aluminum? |

I also agree - it made me a better thinker but man was it worthless for actual job prospects lmao. |

Full moon tonight!!! https://i.postimg.cc/fRxhMCkQ/IMG-2066.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/VNmPvtbr/IMG-2067.jpg |
crazies will be out ... lunatics. Recently a bright star beside moon but it was Venus. Apparently, at the end of the month, 7 planets will be visible in the sky, they all line up. |
i kinda wish i knew more about astronomy and maybe invest in a telescope to add to my list of kooky hobbies. I recently bought a mirrorless canon R50 camera and I've been going nuts shooting my dog, spy balloon and food. I just got a nice tripod and took up night photography now. The kit lens was pretty useless so I got a Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 (constant) lens for 1000 bucks. Now she takes great photos! https://i.postimg.cc/1Rk680y3/IMG-2072.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/cCRJgncv/IMG-1979.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/NGmFP3wQ/IMG-1932.jpg all the moon shots were taken at 50mm x the crop sensor 1.6 x 4x digital zoom. Not the prettiest photo but hell, beats buying a telephoto lens at 1k for no reason |

Right now, the reddish 'star' to the right of the moon is Mars. In the SE you can see Jupiter, Venus is the bright pip in the west. Saturn's hard to see without a telescope/binoculars currently as the rings are edge-on to us. |

This was my experience: we were taught just the core basics. We essentially learned how to read and write in our field, so that we could at least understand and communicate in that world. The material and expected outcomes were very much "here are the standard building blocks: how well do you know it?". In the final year, a little more time was spent discussing what you could do with those blocks, what the tradeoffs were depending on the application, and the success criteria shifted more towards "there are a thousand ways to solve this problem and they all work: how much better is what you've come up with, and how novel is it?". Still, you could get by without really trying to be all that inventive. I personally learned a lot from the open-ended lab components of my classes where you had to do stuff like come up with circuitry to take an analog TV signal and display it to an oscilloscope, using a random handful of components: this was like building something with Lego, freeform, with random limited pieces. There are lots of ways to do it, and you feel compelled to make it less and less shitty: get a sharper image, less geometric distortion, improve contrast. And you've only got so many of each type of piece. You can really learn the nuances, being forced to try and literally see what the tradeoffs are. I was also able to preemptively learn on the job, because of school: I was lucky in that my school has a very strong co-op program. I wound up at BlackBerry, and got to design some of the processor interfacing on the Q40, which was kind of a similar idea in having a lot of different options, but being limited in constraints and being put in a position to weigh the tradeoffs. But this time in the real world. I really think with school, you get what you put into it. There's a lot of stuff that can get you thinking, a lot of knowledge that you might not've otherwise had access to, and lots of industry opportunities that you may not have even known existed. Obviously for someone like yourself, you really didn't need school to get where you wanted to go. The vast majority of people I think are not as fortunate :). |
