Weird. GetDaily does not work for me when I use the button in the navigation bar.
But it works and it's the same link that you posted there.
Anyway, let us know the cost of running it. I am seriously interested in either funding it (if it's not badhobz territory of funding [i've got like -negative money]) or volunteering to take on some of the administrative headache of running the site.

What kind of updates would you guys want, besides just opening the flood gates? Some of it may require upgrading to the newest vbulletin (especially if you want a more mobile friendly interface)
This would drastically change the interface and look here too

any recommendation for a nice higher end all you can eat sushi place in richmond/vancouver??
gonna be in town with my gf's parents and they love AYCE sushi. they usually go to the bargain spots in richmond, its what they know and comfortable with (ESL, limited english). since they'll be with us this time, i thought it'd be nice to take them somewhere new.

No to opening gates. No to new interface. No to change. Don't fix what ain't broken. People are welcome to create their own separate forum with hookers and cocaine if they'd like.
The younger generations don't use this ancient tech. The old folks who aren't already on here from before have no desire to join now. Opening the gates just leads to spam, scammers, and self proclaimed professionals/business owners trying to plug their products/services.
I like the idea of a closed community and see who's the last member standing decades from now.

I run a private vBulletin forum and was forced to upgrade for a variety of reasons. The moment the software was updated, posts and visits took a huge nose dive.
Forums like Rennlist etc. are just full of scammers who have devised clever ways of trying to swindle honest members. It's not fun having to deal with spam bots and scammers all day.

I think by referral sounds like a plan. But I highly doubt we are getting any new members anyways.
We can probably do away with some of the sections. For Sale section can probably just be combined into one as that gets no traffic now anyways.
