So I'm kinda stuck & having a dilemma right now...
I'm thinking of going to law school. I'm currently in the process of majoring English.. And I was planning on minoring poli sci
My gpa is sitting at 3.7 at the moment. So I was thinking of not minoring poli sci and taking bunch of easy electives to boost my gpa up to 3.8+
But my friends are saying I should have a back up plan and minor poli sci.
Tbh I'm not feeling confident enough to do well in poli sci classes and I personality think minoring poli sci won't help me with anything
What do you guys think I should do? Minor poli sci anyways or take bunch of easy electives?

Easy electives if your end goal is law school because a high GPA is key. A minor in poli sci isn't really useful for anything and isn't much of a back up...
But yes, it is always good to have a back up plan for sure.

Friend of mine majored in poli sci and couldn't find a job in the field at the time but found something that pays well in a different industry nothing close to poli sci. i think she would say go to law school. so take the electives for a GPA boost =)
So how was everyones day at imagine?
My orientation consisted of talks about safety, safety, and... did I mention safety? in the labs and on campus.
Couldn't stay for the bbq but stayed long enough to talk a bit and grab a drink with fellow classmates.

^ are you sure it was his roller blades??
first day of classes today. My first class was just a bunch of introductory stuff to the course going over all the stupid crap like plagiarism, academic dishonesty, etc. and my second class was just a dumb seminar. Went home right after since there are no labs first week. I should have just stayed home.

How many hours do you all work during school? I'm currently working about 15 to 16 hours (3 shifts of about 5 hours each) which occur right after school twice a week and once on the weekend. The work isn't physically or mentally demanding (teller). I'm taking four core courses in the UBC Bcom accounting program.
I think I can handle this but I just want to hear some opinion from you guys |
