I used to like taking the bus and napping
Till some asshole called me a "rude Richmond chink" while I had my earphones on all because I asked NICELY for him to move his stupid roller blade off my legs because it was rolling up and down on my jeans
He apparently also said that if I'm to poor to afford a car I shouldn't be complaining about public transit system.

Plus I'm not even Chinese

No man, never parked there before. Is it usually not too busy?

Rose garden is usually pretty quiet. The busiest lots are either North parkade or West lol

I find it really ironic how he labelled you as a richmond chink and too-poor-to-afford-car at the same time. What a jerk.

Reminds me of a time on the 99 bus, where this one woman who had sat down for the majority of the ride and had to get off at the next stop, told everyone that had been standing up the entire busride to "step off the bus" so she could get off. I lol'd, stood there and said no as with the gazillion other people standing around me. She ended up missing her stop. I lol'd even more.

UBC now has access to your info through ICBC. Watch out guys. Can't do the ole plate switch anymore unless the car you drive is not registered under you.

Motherf**kers

http://parking.ubc.ca/

This image just adds insult to injury "Got another traffic notice?" --> "Thanks for supporting UBC" ...

HOW DOES THE NEW PROCESS AFFECT YOU?
Individuals with an email on file with Parking will be sent an email reminder the day after a traffic notice is issued.
Statements of account will be mailed to vehicle owners where the number of traffic notices exceeds 4 unpaid.
Students with 2 or more unpaid notices may have a hold placed on their student account - an email reminder will be sent prior to the hold being placed.
Vehicles with 4 or more unpaid notices may be impounded and will be released when all notices and towing fees are paid.

The statement they sent me has tickets that date back to 2010 =/ They only send you one if you have 4 or more on a plate I think.

Vancouver unveils $2.8-billion vision for Broadway corridor subway

Anyone heard of the UBC subway that's being planned out for 2021? It sucks because most of us here will already be done school and working to be able to enjoy this

And funding is probably going to come from the taxes of diligent folks like some of us who will have worked our way through university by means of shitty transit

They always have speed traps before the highway. I've learned after a few days that they are there frequently.

^Sorry to hear about that They're always there at the end of the month to make sure they hit their quotas.

How did they pull you over and how much did you pay

Aw Energy I'm sorry to hear!
One of the reasons why I choose to park on 41st and take the bus
Because I've seen too many cops just before the highway while I was on the bus
Ashamed to admit this but who doesn't speed on that high way?
---
First exam on Wednesday for me as well
Hosting bday party on Monday anyways LOL

The place I've seen speed traps the most is where the highway goes 80 -> 60 -> 50 and most people are still at 80 by the time they get to the 50 zone. Learned to slow down there and since then I've been fine.

In more awesome news today was my last 8 am class for the year and also last day commuting, since I'm moving into Gage next term.
