I still want to meet the Type-R dude. You guys are referring to the white ITR with the JDM front end always parked on 41st right?
I don't see any of you guys I've only seen MeowMeow once on the bus awhile ago...
And it was awkward as fuck because all you see is this sheepish Asian guy going "M-MeowMeowww?"
I think we need a UBC RS meetup
Also, right before the end of my POLI 100 lecture today, the prof decides to bring up feminism and enlighten us with his insight of hermaphrodites and small penises, and how small penises needed to be, I quote "chopped off."
That's seriously the last straw. Useless class, useless lecture notes, repeating the lecture slide word-by-word doesn't exactly make going to lectures worthwhile. Not going to go to another lectures, just going to go to discussions instead.
haha I still remember that day
I was cranky as fuck cuz that old white dude almost knocked off my coffee off my hand
I never see you around anymore akinari!
I hate those lectures my Psyc prof is kinda like that. He rambles off and talks about off topic shits

Have all the coffee shops upped their prices or is it just Starbucks and Magma (the one in ESB)? Cuz the price for a tall has gone from 1.76 to 1.90 at Starbucks and 1.52 to 1.xx at Magma (and the new chick working there made me pay for a medium to put it into my personal mug/tumbler).
wtfballs
So where's the cheapest place for me to fuel my caffeine addiction now? Preferably on the south end of campus.
The one on Thunderbird Blvd is cheaper than a few. I'm not 100% sure on this as I don't personally drink coffee, but I've just heard this from some friends.

Yeah, my schedule this term is a bit more chill, and I'm too lazy to get on the skytrain and back off and hop on another bus, so I just take the 480 and take my sweet time crawling through Kerrisdale I see your car parked on 41st a lot though, as well as that white ITR and Spectre's green Civic.
Also, stolen from the SFU thread

i got annhilated by 208 last term... ur fault meowmeow, you told me i didn't need to read textbook and I could ace the course tsk tsk
lol jk
but yeah if anyone takes it, make sure you read the textbook, it is VITAL
Damn it Instant, when I bought the book off you you said only the "final thoughts" at the end of the chapters were important
Good thing I've been reading the text LOL but for chapter 1 its been pretty much all said in lecture, chapter 2 is all his neuropsych stuff so he said to only use lecture, just leaving me with chapter 3.

You can try the Kaiser building as well.
Yeah dawg both those Starbucks are at $1.90 now. They are where I usually go haha. I was thinking maybe Pond, Agora or Perugia. Anyone know if those are cheaper?

meowmeow told me the book wasn't important at all, but here i've given you the most important part of the textbook which are the afterthoughts because you can be guaranteed at least 2-3 questions from afterthought. Therefore, it IS important to read the textbook.
If you're aiming for 80% plus, read the side bars as well, i should have mentioned this, but maybe i forgot. I wouldn't waste time studying the actual text itself, because unless you're a psychology student in graduate school, the vast majority of the main text in that book is mindfuck. hence, why it's a psychology textbook.
gd luck with the course man, does he still put pictures on top of the lecture notes? because i'd just take them off, they're ALOT less important than the shit that's underneath them. I made that mistake and it cost me a good chunk of percentage

sorry bra
But the book really wasn't that important when I took it 2 years ago
My friend who didn't read the textbook got A-
My grade wasn't so good though even though I read the text LOl
Probably because I'm lil retarded when it comes to reading Psyc stuff hahaha Posted via RS Mobile
Psyc is terrible. Profs make lectures seem so important and informative and their questions are pulled straight out of the deepest parts of the textbook, the parts that everyone skims past because it seems irrelevant.

I know starbucks increased prices everywhere, I get coffee either at blue chip or pond cafe. Blue Chip a medium is 1.75 with your own tumbler 2 dollars without, and the Pond cafe brews starbucks coffee sells a grande for 2.18 still.
more info on the competition: basically a marketing competition where the winners get an internship at coca cola and a full year's tuition paid for. The winning team's home city will also getting a concert!
