^^ I thought it was good actually, it gave alot of context and back story into the characters. We now know how the whole triangle developed wit Mike, Jenny & his bud.
the thing is the backstory I believe was irrelevant. I'm pretty sure we all figured out what happened in the past because they kept talking about it throughout the episodes, I don't think we needed confirmation in the form of a boring episode.

I disagree. It showed us WHY Harvey became such an ass and also WHY Mike started to Write exams for money ( to take care of his grandma). This episode was for character development.

We already knew that Mike wrote exams for the money to take care of his grandma, the same as why he tried to drop the drugs early on to care for his grandma's more expensive care. The reality is that while none of this background info was bad, everything aside from maybe the Hartman background was pretty much immaterial... this episode felt like filler to me, which sucked.

I didn't think the Mike part added anything to it. And I could have lived without the "if I end up looking like THAT guy" thing. Har har...flashback humor.
Did anyone catch Sloane from Ferris Bueller in the beginning? I thought it was subtle but funny.
Loved the Harvey story though...I think it showed him fully committed to the "dark side".
OH! And how everything that Harvey does for Jessica has a price tag. First, partner and this time, its Donna.
Makes sense. In 5 years Harvey went from associate to junior partner to senior partner while Louis stayed at junior partner while giving so much to the firm. Eh I'd be pissed too.
