ZR Auto's Enzo goes for a Swim in the Atlantic

$1.5 million Ferrari Enzo crashes into Canadian lake

so the yellow custom Enzo from alberta ended up in the Atlantic Ocean yesterday...the owner looks like a pretty down to earth guy. I have to say the car's getting uglier since the last time it was posted on RS though

ilvtofu 09-16-2011 05:41 PM

You can see the genuine connection the owner had with the car :')

Lomac 09-16-2011 05:59 PM

I love the fact that the guy used the word "boo-boo." lol

The guy seems really cool, though... a kind of guy you'd be able to have a beer with and just shoot the shit with for hours.

met him for the first time back in 2008 in Vancouver during ZR's visit, yeah hes a cool guy.

went out of his way to show people his Enzo.

jjson 09-16-2011 06:06 PM

drowns an Enzo. Gets an FXX. Not a big deal. BAUS

StylinRed 09-16-2011 06:16 PM

owner seems cool

but god damn he uglified that enzo; that's probably why it committed suicide

parm104 09-16-2011 07:31 PM

As mentioned, owner does indeed seem like a pretty down to earth guy. He's been in the news before when he did a tour with a bunch of cars and reached speeds of 200km+. Alberta police said they had no prior knowledge that this event was going to take place and started an investigation into it...Not sure what the outcome was.

Check out the rest of his inventory. I was going to buy one of those Ferrari's but after I realized how bad it performs in the water, I think I'll pass.

didn't realize a mint F355 can still fetch $100k
at least they are not a fake tuning shop like SR Auto...i like the similarity in the names lol

E-40six 09-16-2011 08:18 PM

SR tuning = matte wraps, SR stickers, new rims

:troll:

So basically they only do mods that give you MAX HP increase...

lowside67 09-16-2011 08:57 PM

I love how it's like "He corrected it perfectly, then IT JUST DROVE ITSELF LEFT OFF THE ROAD" rather than "He overcorrected left and put it off the road"...

I get that though, Ferraris crash themselves sometimes, it's just part of the car.

MindBomber 09-16-2011 08:58 PM

Great attitude toward the entire experience and the Enzo doesn't looked like it sustained a substantial amount of damage, every driver makes the occasional error.

SR isn't a tuning shop in my eyes, they're more of a customization shop, the fact that they customize exotics doesn't make them all that special.

Racing Greed and Speed Syndicate are tuning shops.

Totally agree with u. SR can have certain things done for you. But by no means are they running a shop in the backyard. I remember they had an issue performing an alignment with my old car, I had to drive somewhere else to get it done.

There's nothing wrong with a shop that customizes car though.

I agree, I personally did not say they were a tuning shop.

falcon 09-16-2011 10:48 PM

To all those saying the damage is not that bad..... uh, last time I checked the Atlantic is salt water. Car is done.

shenmecar 09-16-2011 11:35 PM

money = car not done

Greenstoner 09-17-2011 01:01 PM

damn, even my heart was hurt seeing it in water

Harvey Specter 09-17-2011 03:32 PM

The car can be shipped back to Italy and be rebuilt by Ferrari. I believe someone did this with another damaged Enzo.

This is my guess too. Although they may turn it away when they see what it looks like now .... lol.

The car needs to be gutted. Motor was running when it went in the water so that will have to be gone over and likely rebuilt. Any/all wiring needs to be replaced. It's no small job.

Psykopathik 09-18-2011 06:57 PM

bet he had an iPhone. # 1 phone dropped into water. not sure why...

google it

distanc3 09-18-2011 09:58 PM
