Diamond Parking Ticket.

I recently got a ticket from Diamond Parking, $61.60.

I was talking to a friend about this and they informed me that I should just change my plate on the car.

So I was wondering, does this work? And will they not be able to track me down/ tow my car? Also is it only Diamond that can tow my car? or any company?

Only thing on the ticket is the plate number, time, location, etc. I would have thought they would be able to find my address/name off the plate number.

Thanks guys =)

Changing plates work.

Diamond parkings isnt that big of a deal they basically tell you pay up or theyll tow you next time they see you.

Important tip,

is your car leased? If it is, you will need to pay at the end of the lease b/c the car company will bill you for it.

$18 for a new plate if you're gonna be parking in their lots again, from what I recall you have to get 2 tickets before they do anything though. If you'll never park in their lot again, then just don't pay it. Wait til it goes to some stupid collections company, give them a line to make them buzz off, and be done with it. Many members here have done this with no ill effects.

edit: and if you change your plate you have to do it ASAP or they can still get the info. Unless you're simply planning on changing plates so they can't get you towed.

You need to search "Diamond Parking" "ASR Diamond Parking" "Richmond Diamond Parking" "CTV Diamond Parking" on RS and maybe even google. you will then get your answer and your angus will be safe

Umm I got a ticket, however, on the ticket, they got the make wrong. They wrote Honda, but my car is Acura. Wondering if they will call me or at least mail me a letter before they send into collection, then I can reply and say, what are you talking about, I drive an Acura..

I'm not advocating suicide, but it would get you out of this parking ticket.

hmm previous leased car was a Toyota and I would get the invoices for due tickets sent directly to me. Ignored it and did not get billed at the end of the lease. My car is now leased from BMW and every few weeks I would get a mail from BMW which includes a generic letter stating the lease agreement and the invoice from the parking company. I'm wondering if the end result would be different.. I've already changed my plate once.
