Numerous RS'ers have already made that fact clear, and we're a community who modifies cars, I can't imagine what the opinions of the general public would be. | Well that's where your logic fails. It works exactly opposite in real life. If I pull up in the AE86 or the Cube I'm sure I'll become a farmer - raising eyebrows.
No one suspected anything different from the Accord, as far as general public is concerned it's visually distinctive but still a sensible family saloon car.
I reckon from what I have seen out there I can pull off an EVOX MR realtor car if I had the cash LOL...But nah I think I'm finally jumping the boat for American next time.

I guess when you have had the car for a long time you can mentally calculate if the curb in that house coming right up will clear the lip....but I only had my car for less than 3 weeks so give me a break. | imo this is the best way to go up ANY drive way.
basically enter at a 90 degree angle from any drive way, turn the wheel at full lock and let it ride up 1st before your lip the rest is history.
however coming down is hard part, a lot of times going straight down is better then going at a angle as the lip is lower on the sides then it is on the front. so use your thinker and see which is best per scenario
Hope that helps, I'm not hating on the bumper buggee thing.... it just looks weird lol maybe if it didnt have big tabs on the outside.... innovative tho I must say.

Don't hate on me for saying that, afterall lowered cars are often not practical, they are for looks, and this idea hinders, not helps the lowered look.

Despite the look of the bolts, I would keep the accord stock based purely on the fact that you have to drive clients around.
It's embarrassing enough to have to drive at 2kmph at a 45 degree angle over speed bumps with your gf in the car; I can't imagine doing that to someone where you're convincing them that you know how to best help them spend their $750K.

I was fed up with it so I invented a self-recovering bumper attachment system with all parts available from home depot. The plastic tabs from factory are removed so to make the bumper "recovery" smooth every time a force pushes up on the lip, leveraging the rear of the bumper to come downwards.
From outside you only see 2 bolt heads....
Some sleeve nuts and nylon washer makes sure that the anchors don't fall off and they give excellent anchor points for your average bungees...
Driveways BRING IT ON! |
