Hey guys, I just got a new computer for free and I"m thinking about gaming on PC again after a 10+ year absence. I'm not looking to go full gamer but I want to know if this PC is ok enough to play current games without many issues. Yes, I'm a noob when it comes to this.
It's just one of those HP computer you buy at the store. I guess it's mainly the Video Card I'm not so sure if it's good enough or not for current games.
Intel i7-3770 CPu @ 3.4-GHz
12.Gb Ram
64-bit Operating System
AMD Radeon HD 8570

In the 200 range, I would suggest a 660, or a HD 7850.
I would ensure that you're power supply has a high enough output to support the video card. As mentioned, making sure there is space. As for the slot, you won't have to wrry about it, for sure it'll be running PCI-E 2.0. Just make sure you have a 8x or 16x slot. It should be in the tech specs of the computer.
Edit: seems like the 660 TI is still around 230s, the 660 OC should be good enough. I like the asus one, since it has a nice cooler one it. Specifically, the Direct CU II model.

Need to get a SSD for my laptop. Currently my desktop have one and it feels like my desktop runs a lot faster than my laptop although spec wise my laptop should be better (other than the SSD). Everything just take ages to load on the latptop lol.
Is it easy to install a SSD on a laptop? Currently using a HP DVT6.
