Typing this on a Topre Realforce 87U... 55g :megusta: http://elitekeyboards.com/proddata/i..._th620x400.jpg That's my next KB review, will probably spend a good 3-4 weeks with it first. First impressions.. this feels like an expensive piece of hardware. And man is it gorgeous Also 55g is pretty stiff coming from Cherry MX Blues, even though those are 50g |
Im using the Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition.. bought it around 4 months ago.. not bad so far... my deskspace is limited so the tenkeyless is nice... |
Just bought this Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 OC REV2.0 1006MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card priced match at ME for 484 before tax. |
Folks. Something quick but what is the proper method of reapplying thermal paste to the cpu? Most say not to spread it around , put a pea size dot in middle, in any case I think I screwed it up by spreading it thinly with my finger. Idle temps is 40 while under 60% load when playing WoW it got to 100 deg Celsius. Posted via RS Mobile |
To the CPU, just put a blob in the middle and let the heatsink smush it down If temps are too high, the heatsink is probably not seated properly |
small blob in the middle then put the heatsink down. twist heatsink left and right then tighten it. let it run for a while. Never use your finger. |
I make an X, put small dots in the V's of the X, put the heatsink on, tighten it, remove it then check for gaps. |
^^^ thanks. Turns out the cpu heatsink/fan wasn't seated properly. All is good now. 30 degrees C idle and hits about 63 during world of Warcraft Posted via RS Mobile |

It gives me a very thin layer spread evenly almost every time, I've had to fill in a few small gaps but most of the time it's spot on. |
one dot then spread across with a card/paint scrapper to make an even thin layer works for me |

Massdrop currently has A5+ on sale for 299$. Lowest I've seen. |
Hey guys, thought I'd post my problem here with my cpu instead of making a thread..Anyways my 1 year old HP computer has been giving me quite a bit of lag when playing games and even loading pages/watching youtube would take a long time to load sometimes. My fans are noticably louder then before so I thought it was because of dust collecting inside the tower. Cleaned it up today and still lags when playing easy games like CS and TF2. What could be the problem? Specs of computer: i7-3770@3.40ghz 10 gb ram 2tb hard drive NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 I'm pretty sure it's not my internet either cause I run CS/TF2 with ease on my mac pro.. |
If it's CS:GO, there has been problems with the recent updates.. causing massive fps drops out of no where. |

you pc tower specs shouldnt give you problems with those games... maybe try to reinstall drivers or look for updated drivers? |
