As others have mentioned before, Crossfire depends on the developer's implementation in the game. I'm not sure what you expectations for FPS increase are, but Crossfire does not linearly increase FPS.

I'm not too sure how much the mobo costs, but selling the 1090T for $100 be possible.

So ... I got a second card and my FPS increased, but nowhere near as high as I expected, and I'm assuming that's because my CPU is old as hell.

What do you guys suggest for a overclock friendly motherboard that can support crossfire? My only requirements are Crossfire support + Around the $100 mark
Right now I am considering the ASUS Z87M-PLUS + i5-4670K -- since the 4670K is unlocked I was just going to bump the multiplier up until I get 4.0 GhZ, but its micro-ATX form factor turns me off.

Also, what do you guys think is a fair price to ask for an Asus Crosshair IV Formula + 1090T Processor?

Don't do any heavy gaming aside from CS:S (which already gets a constant 300 FPS), CS:GO, and DayZ (Destroys my FPS)

Starting to build a new gaming PC around a 4670k (on sale right now on amazon.com for $190)

Which motherboard would you guys recommend getting? Not looking to spend anymore than $200 and planning on OC'ing a little bit.

I just bought an MSI G45 Z87 and I'm very happy with it. Supports SLI/Crossfire with full-speed PCI-e slots, and I got my 4670 running at 4.2 ghz on stock volts with 45 degree load temps

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

I'll look more into the G45.

It's between the MSI G45, Gigabyte UD4H, or the ASRock Extreme6 right now.

Maybe RAM. Prime95 for awhile, swap out ram modules. IRQL could be anything...

Googled:
Bad hardware

This issue is commonly caused by memory related issues. If you've recently installed any new memory into the computer, it's recommended that it be removed to verify it's not the cause of the issue. If after removing the memory this issue no longer occurs, you have either bad memory or it's mismatched with other memory currently installed in the computer.

If you have not installed any new memory into the computer recently, it's also possible that the memory currently installed in the computer is bad.

I would switch to Crucial or G.Skill ram, it will be cheaper and perform just as well with a lifetime warranty.

I also usually recommend Gigabyte boards for Intel. A Z87-UD3H would be good in this case.

I'll take a look at the Crucial or G.Skill ram.

I've also been looking at the UD3H and seems promising.

How about the ASRock Extreme4? It's $114 AR on newegg.

My laptop has the dreaded HD4000 + HD7xxxM switchable graphics. I'm almost 100% positive it's something wrong with the Intel drivers...

My laptop starts up the home screen in Win7 Basic, then after a second or two switches to Aero. Can't find any resources online about this issue. I've completely removed both drivers (and removed all traces of the drivers) and reinstalled multiple times but the issue still persists.

This is especially bugging me because I'm switching to an SSD very soon, and the last thing I want is this issue to carry over to my SSD.

Gigabyte Boards have become very well built over the last several years. They're affordable and perform spectacularly. If you can afford it, the ROG boards are great for their performance and options.
