I want faster speed (particularly at multi-tasking and running multiple programs at once). I do some light gaming also. I'm stuck between upgrading my ram to 8gb ($90) or buy a new crucial 256gb SSD ($129). PC is about 4 years old, I don't want to buy a new PC if I don't have to. What would be the best bang for the buck at this point (price per performance wise)? | Get the SSD, probably the best upgrade one can get for their computer imo. You will instantly feel the difference.

Will do that. Thank you.
Also, would it be better to start fresh with Windows or clone my system drive to the ssd?

I've only seen bad things happen when cloning from a mechanical to SSD.

I cloned a HDD to an SSD with no problems. Just have to make sure you do it correctly.

Cloning is fine, I think I am on my 4th cloned drive right now. I use R-Drive Image. It's free for 1 month or something, and works fantastic.

If anyone needs a mSATA drive for their notebook, I got a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO for sale. It gets 530/520 read and writes.
Got a MacBook again so it doesn't fit. Will trade it for a PNY StorEdge or Transcend JetDrive Lite.

sorry, i know i've asked this before but i want to double check and get some input on this.
so according to CPU-Z, my ram is 9-9-9-24 PC3-10700 (667MHz) @ 1.5V in slot #1 and slot #3. I have ASRock Z77 Extreme4 mobo.
i tried ordering the exact same brand for slot #2 and 4 but NCIX said it would be over a month before the ram arrives once they've placed the order.
they recommended me http://www.ncix.com/detail/kingston-...78421-1248.htm
any input on this brand/type of ram and will it work optimally for my mobo?

Solid keyboard, beautiful metal plate..
The keys kind of stick out so is very easy to clean.
Keycaps are kinda meh...
got it on a sale for like $100.. wouldn't pay that much more tho.
There s RGB backlight version coming out soon..so the regular one would hopefully drop in price
