Anyone here have an Oculus Quest for VR? Got any tips for a newbie? Tried some demo games like Beat Saber and Super Hot, pretty cool.

Joined a random room in Big Screen and talked to random strangers as well, pretty cool too.

Anyone using kanto Yu2 or yu4 or audioengine a2+?? Im looking to finally update my 10year old z2300 lol. I have a razer blackshark v2 pro for gaming, so I'll be using it for music and sometimes gaming when the miss isnt home. I listen to edm, dubstep and lo fi. I prefer to add a sub down the road as i am a bass head.

I'm kinda leaning towards the kanto yu2 and pairing it with an 8inch sub. Any thoughts?

If you want to exercise try fitvr it a punching work out game I use every day. if you really want to box check out the thrill of the fight.

I was leaning towards the Kanto yu4 because its not full size bookshelf but its also not super tiny. Or should i just go edifier?
If you have the room look at some used bookshelf speakers. I picked up a pair of paradigm phantom 8 inch speakers a 8 inch powered sub matching paradigm center and a sony receiver with HDMI for my niece for $300. Way better sound than some computer speakers with 4 inch drivers.

Pick this set up sell the speakers you don't need and pick up an HDMI receiver for $100

Oh believe me, if full size bookshelf was an option i would definitely do it. Its for a den in an aparment, small space, minimal desk spacing so i was either thinking of wall mounting it beside my monitor or leaving it on the desk under the monitor.

I have an Audioengine A2+ where I run a USB cable to it, and use the built-in DAC on the it (the A2+). The sound quality is good but not high end spectacular by any means. I don't have any experience with your Logitech Z2300, but I am willing to bet that the A2+ will still be an upgrade unless you are basshead.

After buying my A2+, I've listened to the Yu2, and I thought my A2+ sounded a bit more clear and crisp. But I think the Yu2 is a bit cheaper, so there is that.

Thanks for the advice guys, im definitely gonna go either a2+ or yu2 for space saving reasons, but whichever i choose I'll definitely add a sub as i am a bass head. Probably a dayton 8 inch or if i can find a used kanto sub8.

Almost done my setup! Got my 3rd pcie cablemod cable finally in (3080 needs 3, again, BIG UPS to lilaznviper!!!) and my new chair arrives in a week! Just need to do some cable management and thats it!

Now to build le gf's setup!

edit: Nvidia isn't selling any 3060 from their site directly.

Forgot to open my Discord, but there was a huge 3060TI/3080 drop today on Best Buy around 11:30AM.

sold out by 11:25am.

I clicked on the "add to cart" at around 11:24am and was queued up on a screen with a progress bar because the site suddenly had too much traffic.

Then it just took me to an out of stock page.


Discord is good at showing what you've missed, but it's not entirely reliable for getting a gpu since there is still so much luck involved. You can literally be taking a piss and it's all gone before you're back.

I think your Discord group's bot might be a bit slow. The group I'm in showed the drop at 11:22AM with the following amounts.

2x EVGA 3060TI FTW3
549x NVIDIA 3060TI FE

182x EVGA 3080 XC3
5x ASUS 3080 STRIX

One of my friends managed to put in three orders by himself today. Normally he would ping me to help him place an order (I already have a 3080), so not sure what happened there.

Either way, I was only a minute after I heard the notification bells before I clicked "add to cart". But still wasn't fast enough.

I think I have the EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA GAMING 8GB GDDR6. Its good for mining, but I heard the 3060 is the same profitability but at a fraction of the cost. I have two 3070's going and just want to cut back on some capital costs so thinking what I should do...

they can't even stock 3060 that's why they're withholding the 3080ti..wouldn't expect it august/september at the earliest

think 2017 but with 300x the demand to supply
