What's the difference between those kits with the giant radiators and water cooling like the H100?

the d14 costs less then the h100
h100 cools a bit better from what i hear and also makes your computer look a cleaner on the inside
the d14 could have space issues (w/ the ram heat spreaders)
no regrets getting the d14
and the h100 gets super loud on max fan speeds from what i read

Giant radiators are double thickness, as well as some may be high density, meaning there are twice as many heat fins as there are on the Corsair H100. They also require a pump, reservoir, water looping & a lot of tinkering.

The H100 is a closed loop no maintenance heatsink, it requires no refills, and has an evap rate of <0.00001%. These are low density fins as well as single thickness, they have the maximum potential of a Noctua D14 when it is set on high settings.

edit: oh...giant radiator as in D14, derp.

Is anyone interested in getting one of those 2560x1440 korean ips monitors? I want to get one but dont have ebay/paypal or want to set one up. Apparently only ebay vendors sell them atm unless someone knows of another online vendor.

Hey I bought one about 2 weeks ago.
Took about 5 days after I paid to get to my door.
Pretty fast turnaround.
I know I promised to put a some pictures but my desk is kinda messy so I was holding off taking pictures till I cleaned up my desk

But I gotta say though.......it's worth every penny, well as long as you get a good one. Mine has minimal backlight bleeding and as far as dead pixels, I "think" I found one then I stopped looking lol. It's super hard to notice them anyway, especially with this resolution and I completely forgot about the one I found with my daily usage.

I should be able to post some pictures in the next few days.....

I heard they are made from rejects of Dell and Apple, but I actually havent seen one of them in action or long term usage. A lot of people seem happy with them though.

Core i3 2320 ($120-130)
H77 board ($100) (recommend Gigabyte)
4GB DDR3 1333 ($25)
GeForce 460 ($140) (find an overclocked model if you can)
1TB HDD ($100)
Any Case ($20-50?) (Antec 302 is $50 at NCIX right now)
Antec Green 380W ($50)

TOTAL: $550-580 or so.

I recommend stretching your budget a bit and picking up a Radeon 7850 instead. This brings it up by about $80

I have a really old graphics card ASUS GF6600. What would be a good upgrade for this card? I probably game once a year, but watch a lot of HD movies on my computer. I don't do any photo editing either.

I don't want to spend too much, but I don't want to cheap out and get a card that's barely better than what I already have.

What games are you playing?

I got a 5770 for $70 a few months back. Best bang for your buck card IMO.

Usually it's in the spur of the moment, meaning I just play random games that can range from something like Sims 3 to Battlefield. Like I said I probably game once or twice o a year lol.

I looked at 550ti, and I think it's around 140. Haven't looked at 5770. I would prefer the cheaper option if its worth the upgrade

Thanks!
