Thanks again for the input guys. And yes I did mean to say Powercolor instead of CoolerMaster :P.
Hmm if the Intel 330 is actually not that good I might just stick it into my Macbook(was my original plan with it anyways). I will look into the 840 Pro and the HyperX instead.

yeah i read on some forum where people are saying amd is too busy with the new xbox and playstation and sea-island isn't going to be released until 2014 sometime
that's soooo lame
that is unless they cut prices by 50% hmmm maybe? that'd be awesome
So, who can tell me if it's worth it for me to upgrade from my MSI 560 Ti to the Powercolor 7870 PCS+ Tahiti LE?
I still have it in my cart with the sales price and have been going back an forth on whether to buy or not.
again...if it meets you satisfaction at the res you play...I would save
AMD pricing is really fair right now...if they push out GCN refresh that's only 20% faster than 7xxx cards then they would really have to undercut the current line-up
edit: oh snap...7970 will remain their fastest single GPU card. May be they really are focusing on consoles this year. Nvidia already posted record profits this year too
