| Terra Nova
Surprised no one has brought this up yet.
Who else caught the premiere of Terra Nova? I enjoyed watching it but the budget that they're throwing at this show may not be sustainable. The special effects aren't quite on par with movies or even some tv shows with half their budget (some pretty bad green screen effects in a couple spots and the CGI dinosaurs could be better) but otherwise it's decent.

but whatever its definitely no battlestar galactica or lost etc level show

I enjoyed watching it but the budget that they're throwing at this show may not be sustainable. | The main problem along with the budget is the lengthy turn around time from shooting to post to delivery, which really only allows Terra Nova a 13 episode season, which means it will have to reach 7 seasons (most tv shows only need 4) before the studio can sell and market syndication rights package. That's where the studio will really make $ off a tv show.
Ratings last night scored a 3 share in the key demo, which is fairly disappointing considering the amount of dollars spent on production and marketing and the positive critic reviews prior. Finished 3rd in both the 8pm and 9pm time slots.

didn't get a chance to finish it yet...felt pretty cheesy with family theme to be honest
i think steven spielberg should just go ahead and make his 4th JP title instead of being an exec producer for pretty much the past decade

I actually really enjoyed the show. I won't pass judgement yet since I want to see where they take but it is kinda nice watching something different for once.

Will give it a few episodes at least. Unlike Charlies Angels, which I gave up on halfway through the pilot

refreshingly entertaining I thought. If I'm not mistaken, they were using tranq guns too, not live ammo? Like those sonic turret guns were non-lethal too.
