i was wondering how much would it cost for install and a brand new 9700 bb housing kit will cost

I'd recommend doing it yourself. It's fairly easy. Compared to JP Cellular, it's like $50-$80 for the housing and 'labor' when you can DIY and buy your own housing for $20~

I installed a metallic red one on mine (bought off eBay for $10). Now it has duplicate letters and the lock button takes a death grip to work. Its a lot more durable though..

that's because you only paid $10 and it was through ebay sellers therefore the shitty fitment/quality.
