revers-osmosis and water softener system

i'm in market to puchase both units. i was using waterboss(water softner) in my old house but i don't really like it.

anyone can give me recommendation? i see that Culligan(RO) have most advertising but not sure how well they are plus the cost of filter replacement is another major factor due to the filter need to replace every year.

also, i just need the unit without installation as i have plumber who will install.

PS i'm located in Calgary

Thank you

What kind of water softener are you looking for? Resin-type or something like NF?

Oh, you're residential.

I am familiar with industry use only. Since you are in Calgary, I'd refer you to Terra Water Systems (division of Precision Drilling)

4208 118th Ave SE
Calgary, Alberta
Canada
T2Z 4A4

403-203-2796

Talk to their technical sales dept. and they will be able to give you the whole breakdown of resin-type softening vs. nanofiltration (membrane).
