I pay $63 after-tax but for 500mb. So I think you're getting a pretty good deal with the 1GB.

I think you only need to be active for 3 months | hold on flames boy! I actually just renewed a 3 year contract and got the new 9900 bold
4 things i was offered:
-50$ credit for the phone
-$35->20$ activation fee
-long distance for fab10
-10% off bill credit (before taxes)
I got pretty much the same features as what you mentioned in your first post. make sure u get all of the above i mentioned before you accept. Thats about the best deal you can get.
all in all, its $49.50(including the 10% discount) + tax so about $55. I did accept the offer on Thursday, which was supposedly the last day of the $55 fab 10 deal.
Supposedly now the fab10 deal starts at $60 instead?

mine is 54 before taxes...so like 60
the only thing from your list that was different, was a 40$ credit phone credit and they waived the activation fee instead

As a retention plan, it's not that great. Example..
Telus offered for $55:
200 anytime
10 nationwide fave
1gb
Unlimited SMS
Free after 6
Voicemail (3, yours is 25)
Call waiting/conference
This plan ended on the 3rd, but you can still get it.
Since you are renewing AND buying a phone, you should fight a bit more and see if you can get caller id for free, or a bit more data.
Tell them telus offered you what I told you, called student 55, and they are throwing in free caller id for 3 years.. Almost guaranteed that bell will bite.
Edit.. I see you are getting caller id, so yeah, it's okay. Posted via RS Mobile |

Tegra_devil, I just renewed with Bell a month ago. I was coming off a three year term ( had about 4 months left) and I renewed for another 3 years. I have the exact plan as what you are offered, but I pay 49.50 before tax. The difference between your plan and mine is that you are paying for your call display. The customer service lady couldn't offer call display for free but once i got transfered to rentention, they gave me that call display for free right away. You should at least get that option. good luck. I did some research before I signed again and I couldn't find a better rate from the other 2 big service providers as a new customer.

for Bell you dont need a confirmation number. In fact, there IS no confirmation number.
all you need is the name and then number of the rep you spoke to.
ALL calls are recorded so if you have a dispute, just ask them to listen to the recording.

pumping this as i dont want to make a new thread
so this is my plan currently
Student 55 Fab 10 & Txt BB-36M
200 anytime local minutes
National Fab 10 - Text & Talk
Text Messaging - Unlimited Package
Unlimited Picture_Video Bundle
Basic Long Distance Rate
now it doesnt say anything about free evenings/weekends but apparently the guy said i do have it ? anyway to check or do i have to call in ?
and this is how it the payment is
Monthly charges $65.00
Msg Ctr Express & Call Display Bundle
$10.00
Student 55 Fab 10 & Txt BB-36M
$55.00
i think this is BEFORE taxes..so normally i end up around..72$ or so after taxes. THEN i also get this shit for some reason...
"TXT MSG Short Code Programs Received(4):" and i get charged 12$ ! so 3$ per msg i get..like WTF IS THIS ?? I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY I HAVE THIS SHIT BEING CHARGED lol
i think the plan is fairly good (if i do indeed have evenings/weekend after 6-7pm i forget) but now i want to upgrade my phone and such. if i sign a NEW 3-year contract, i wont have to cancel this one right ? cus i'll still be WITH bell, except a new 3year deal and better phone ? or what's your guys' advice as to how i should approach this
-------------------------------
sorry for it being long lol just dont wanna double post. Now my cousin is also under the same plan pretty much cept for a Samsung Galaxy S2 and this is what he gets
My plan
Fab 10 Promo 55 Share
Conference Calling and Call Waiting
200 shareable minutes
Unltd Nights & Wknds 6PM-7AM
Unl. nationwide member talking
National Fab 10 - Text & Talk
Text Messaging - Unlimited Package
Unlimited Picture_Video Bundle
Email & Internet 1GB Share
Basic Long Distance Rate
Social Networking
and he only pays 55$ after taxes

I'm faced with a dilemma, we've had a corporate plan for 3+ years (the contracts expired, and is continuing month to month) for the last little while we've been receiving text messages saying we are eligible for a hardware upgrade. I called bell and they confirmed this. I went to a local corporate store and the lady there said because it is a corporate plan and we do not work for the actual company(do not have an employee ID number) that she cannot give us a new phone.
Is there any way around this? Since I feel its bullshit since they gave us the plan knowing we did not work for the company but gave it out no problem. Now when we want a newer phone(like a simple flip phone(non-smartphone)) they won't let us....
Is there anything you can do ghostrider....???
thanks

^you are SOL
Bell will honour the current contract as it is well, an active contract.
But when it expires, you are open to anything. As you do not work for the company, Bell has no reason to honour a contract for a specific company.
Bell in the past were very loose when it came to corporate plans. It is VERY different now. The company has tighten regulations severely.
You might be able to find a non corporate store to re-new you. However, you now have a whole new division of Corporate Security checking all corporate renewals. It is not a matter of IF they find you, more of a WHEN they find you.
Your best bet is to just go month to month on your existing PLAN and RATE and buy a phone.
Trust me on this one, I have a VERY good insight on Corporate Security.

Trust me on this one, I have a VERY good insight on Corporate Security. | my aunt got a new phone from a store, same corporate plan as myself...this was only 2 months ago too. Went in and said its not my fault u guys gave me a corporate plan, I didn't ask for it, you gave it to me like any other customer. Therefore I should be able to renew my contract and get a new phone.
If Bell finds out will they cancel my contract? or? Because I've been thinking of calling in and trying to get them to send me a phone.

If Bell finds out will they cancel my contract? or? Because I've been thinking of calling in and trying to get them to send me a phone. | The contract means nothing. The contract that your aunt signed (paper copy) has a section where she had to initial stating that she works for the specified company.
When Bell finds out and IF they want to take action, they will charge her the full price of the plan and immediately void the contract. The full price is what ever plan and features is closest to the active plan. Ie, if she has caller ID she will be charged the full price. The company will then charge your aunt all the missing money from the months before.
Also, this depends on what corporate plan your aunt and yourself are on.
Calling in customer service is worth a try, but keep in mind all CS agents are corporate reps and have all calls recorded..... They might give you a break, but they might also be more strict.
Gamble either way.

Judging from the question and responses, I doubt it is a Corporate Corporate plan.
More like an Corp INDV or and EPP plan.
Im leaning on the INDV side.
