I asked my friend in Taiwan who does this for a living, he said it'll be $30,000 NT to start for the 16G which is roughly $1,000 CDN and they're getting phones in the day after the initial release. Since the price will be driven by depend, so the price could be higher/lower

Vale46Rossi 10-13-2011 11:25 AM

First of all it's a E55 not C63 -.-,

anyways I have been quoted $33,000 NT minimum for each phone so thats good, and also have to factor everything else in including how many phones I will end up with.

But anyways I have enough people now so thanks everyone and see who ever is coming out tonight!

Thanks again

If it's just 50-60 units, I would just put it in a carry-on luggage case. iPhone boxes aren't that big.
That way, they will be with him the whole way...and not get thrown with other checked-in luggage.

Got 30+ on craigslist

so your telling me you and your 33+ RS/CL possie will form a line, and you will be carrying over $28,000.00?

649.99 x 1.12 tax = $727.98

727.98 x 33 phones = $24,023.63

33 x $100 line up fee? $3,300.00

66 tim hortons? $111.12

CASH? 28,162.73

OP's bringing back at least 35-60 units to Taiwan, while yielding at least 100% profit per iPhone4s.

Wow, please dont do my taxes.

727.98 + 100 = 827.98 COST

if sold for $1000, then 172.02 profit x 33 = $5676 profit and getting them to asia, and selling all at once.

not bad for a few phone calls and a post or two on CL, plus having the bankroll to organize it.

threezero 10-13-2011 08:05 PM

Forgot plane ticket + possiblity of lower demand than expected.

Should've just hired homeless people. They're already downtown to begin with and they would've done it for a hamburger.

Spoiler!

Tim Budong 10-14-2011 01:16 AM

u better provide them with this
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lr...4siwo1_500.jpg

Taiwan wouldnt have as high of a demand as say HK

first batch to these places come from AUSTRALIA, in which making 17-20k HKD for white 64GB isnt impossible
Almost 6hrs after that initial batch, 15k HKD is what u are looking to pocket
I dont know the demands in TW

Vale46Rossi 10-14-2011 02:37 AM

22 people showed up from Craigslist and I upped their price a bit!!!

I am now buying iPhone 4GS too if you get your hands on one before 9am ill buy the 16gb for 880

Needs receipt but will take all!
Posted via RS Mobile

Sky_High 10-14-2011 02:46 AM

If I were those 22 people in line... I would just purchase two 16gb for total of $1453.76, and get $1760 from you.

$300 profit is much better than the $100 (or w/e you "uppped their price a bit") you're paying these slaves.

and P.S: Come on OP, take some pics of you and your workforce. The whole RS wants to see :suspicious:

cho 10-14-2011 09:35 AM

"Oh that was his name?? Yeah there was a group of 30 asian ppl in front of me all talking to this one guy. And he took all their phones"

looks like he got what he wanted

Werd. Probably too late now but pictures of the 22+ iphones and a piece of paper saying revscene would do. Op futures shop has no lineup btw

RESN 10-14-2011 11:44 AM

future shop only sells the phone with a contract, that is why everyone lined up at Apple.

bcrdukes 10-14-2011 12:02 PM
