Haha yeah, I was surprised they killed him off that early.
Whats next? Brody following through with Nazir's plans? Dude was way too upset with Nazir's death to just let it go. It also looked like Quinn was having second thoughts about killing Brody, probably just because he was with Carrie. After this finale, I'll have nothing to watch
I'm thinking there will still be a terrorist attack carried out in the finale that will setup season 3. It'll likely have to tie Brody in somehow with questions about him being suspected in taking part or if he knew anything, they'll need to keep Brody tied into the main plot for season 3 since Nazir is now dead. Also that suicide bomber tape of Brody is still floating around, I think we haven't seen the last of that yet as a focal point.
They're making FBI SWAT teams look like crap. Not living up to the 'T' in SWAT, when you go in alone to clear a dark, hidden room without alerting your team. That guy got taken down way too easily.
I'm so disappointed they couldn't take Nazir alive. I really wanted to see him get tortured. Maybe i'm spoiled by Jack Bauer's operating methods. Part of me just wants to see an asshole like that feel some pain.
Something that's been bothering me about Dana, besides her cunt attitude and her fondness for limp guys, is A) her mop hair, and B) those ugly shoes she wears. I knows it sounds crazy, I don't get it either, but seriously, those are some ugly ass shoes. Reminds me of Eeyore's ears. It's like the latest in hobo-style footwear.

LOL, I thought I might be the only one noticing her hideous shoes and getting pissed off about them everytime. It's weird cause it's just shoes but it's one of many thing about her character that irk me the wrong way.
And yeah, who never saw that coming with the SWAT member going in alone without radioing his team, made him look inept and incapable, they did him wrong.
I think the writers on the show get together and come up with both subtle and blatant reasons for us viewers to hate her character.
Just my theory.
Roya owned Carrie. Nice one.
+1, Just because we hate her doesn't mean she should be gone (although I'm always calling for her head) It just means her character is doing exactly what the writers want her to do, they are pulling those emotions from the audience.
not sure if it's just because i missed it or major plot holes from last few episodes
1. How did Nazir knew Walden had a pacemaker? Even if he had a mole that told him all this, how did he know where to find the serial number?
2. How did Saul knew Quinn was up to assassinate Brody? Sure he knew he had another agenda with David Estes but how was he able to pinpoint that it was an assassination and the target was Brody?
Can't really answer your first question cause there's a lot of ways that he could have known.
But for your second question, when Virgil followed Quinn to meet up with Dar Adal, Saul confronted him and asked who he is and he said "he's one of mine". He then asked Estes what he's doing there and he told him "he's here to kill terrorists" and that he wasn't really an analyst.
this entire show's been very meh..except for the finales. Brody going into the bunker with the vest was great...and this ending was also pretty good.
Spoiler!
last scene was pretty sad with all the body bags...maybe because of the recent school shooting tragedy just this past weekend. Hmm I thought it was out of place that Saul was chanting arabic prayers
I was actually hoping for something a little bit more dramatic.
It'd be great if you can see suicide bombers blowing themselves up in front of public places then David gets interrupted by an agent advising him of what happened, then the bomb goes off.
In the episode, Brody actually asks Nazir, "How the fuck do you know all this" and Nazir replies, "New York Times, believe it or not."
It's not arabic, its hebrew.
yeah thought nazir said something...i rewinded few times and couldn't catch what he said. No subtitle problem lol. Still...knowing where and exactly what to look for
