CarProof Question. Claims or no claims? So, I just ordered a CarProof report, and at the beginning of the report, it says: Insurance/Damage History: Records Found When I go down to Accident and Collision Data, it says: ICBC, a Crown corporation, as indicated below, has insurance claims information on record for the vehicle searched. VIN Year Make Model WBAGJ8325VDL43990 1997 BMW 740IA And in the middle of that section, it also says: Accident Records - FANTASTIC News!! CarProof.com has searched over 35 million insurance claims and policy history records from the insurance industry in Canada. NO record of any accident has been found. So, are there any claims or not? How do I find out? Thanks anyone that can help! |
I believe it means that they have its records, and the records say no accidents. Usually if it's a canadian car there will be about 8 pages with each province and then info about if it was every registered there, or if it was ever in an accident there. So look under BC if its from there. |
an insurance claim could be a windshield repair/replacement and not an accident |
