Motorola Droid RAZR

Not bad
But I dont like that huge hump in the back for the camera

Think it looks pretty nice and the specs are great.

The hump is probably where the antennas are as well.

AVS_Racing 10-18-2011 03:44 PM

hm...... sort of want too bad i dont think there will be an aws version

!MiKrofT 10-18-2011 04:26 PM

Probably not. The Droid series is usually Verizon only.

What I do like: Kevlar back, Gorilla Glass front, Steel core, super amoled 960x540

!MiKrofT 10-24-2011 12:31 PM

Looks like the Droid Razr will be coming to Rogers. Apparently every version of the Razr can be bootloader unlocked except the US one.

!Yaminashi 10-24-2011 12:36 PM

Besides the steel frame + higher res screen how does this compare to the SGS2?

!Yaminashi 10-24-2011 01:00 PM

Oh man, the battery isnt removable. IMO thats a deal breaker for me :(

!MiKrofT 10-24-2011 04:17 PM

Guess they had to use built in battery to reduce the size? Not a dealbreaker for me I guess. I've never had to replace a battery on my cel phone before. Nor have the need for multiple batteries.

!Yaminashi 10-24-2011 07:23 PM

Yeah, its not a huge deal but for some reason I dont like not being able to replace the power source. But this phone does look pretty sick

iEatClams 10-29-2011 02:39 PM

I personally really like it,

on the rogers website it comes with gingerbread, but looks like its designed to be easily upgrade-able to Ice Cream Sandwich.

Looks like November will be crazy with Nexus prime and the galaxy Note and this Razr phone coming out.

iEatClams 10-29-2011 02:40 PM

Plus the nice frame and the gorilla glass, something the galaxy nexus wont have.

!MiKrofT 10-29-2011 05:52 PM

All phones released now will have an upgrade to ics.

!Yaminashi 10-30-2011 12:42 PM

Can't wait for ICS on the s2:D

RacePace 10-31-2011 10:32 AM

To be released on Friday?
Rogers Samsung Galaxy S Glide and Motorola RAZR both pegged for a release next week | MobileSyrup.com

Might be tempted to use my HUP on this as we've got no news on Rogers getting the Nexus (doubtful IMO)

!MiKrofT 10-31-2011 11:25 AM

Why wouldn't Rogers get the Nexus? Practically every carrier got the Nexus S.

!Yaminashi 11-01-2011 10:30 AM

Not sure if this is confirmed or not, but I read the screen on the razr is pentile

!MiKrofT 11-01-2011 02:53 PM

It is... but it looks much better now according to online reviews.

6 weeks or less after the ics source has been released by google.
