^ Something about the above pic is just brothers me:?

Doesn't look quite like the one Jonney Shih unveiled. Just look at the silver colour...
And it seems to be a bit bigger than the original 10" screen...

The color scheme doesn't look right... has to be a fake. No way Asus would make it that ugly after making the tf1 look so good.

It's supposed to be 10 inches, and the new photo does look like a 10 incher.

I'm pretty sure it's not fake.. It has the ASUS logo on the top left corner as well. However in the Jonney Shih picture here it does seem like there are two separate left/right buttons which is not in this picture. Maybe they're one is newer than the other? I'm pretty sure it's legit.

Is this a serious question?

Completely different processor architecture (design) and what they are meant to do. Consider the difference in the complexity of the operating systems they are meant to use. The Tegra or Kal-El would not be happy running Windows 7, whereas a C2D would do it all day without any trouble. Cache size is hugely different, as is clock speeds, pipeline etc.

nVidia claims that it will beat the C2D at one test. Let's have them both do a series of benchmarks that are widely accepted for PC performance measurements before saying that conclusively.

If you did a little Googling, you would come up with this article which came out a while ago. It explains the differences nicely. Also remember that the C2D architecture is quite old, and Sandy Bridge chips have not been compared yet.

Why nVidia

^ Either fake benchmark or none-optimized benchmark. It should have scored a lot higher than that chart.

Benchmarks for these devices is kinda a moot point anyways. It's just a generalization of it's performance. Still it's nice to see some sorta representation.

Turns out it's a problem with the benchmark. It tops out on the graphics side so that's why the chart shows about the same graphics performance as a GS2 or Nexus when it should be maybe 3 times faster.

Here's some more information on the transformer prime:

Meet the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, the World's First Supercomputer Tablet

Pricing is almost the same too. $500 for 32GB isn't too bad!
