Not quite a laptop... its missing optical drives and extra USB ports but I think this will be on-par or even out perform a lot of netbooks on the market.
I'd say in terms of pure computing power, it should be better than most cheaper netbooks on the market. That said, it's apples to oranges, they're both for different purposes (and this is running on Android, not Windows 7 and etc.) Here's hoping anyways...
$499 for 32GB model, $599 for 64GB, $149 for the keyboard dock.
Apparently there will be NO champagne nor 64gb primes for Canada. Not until next year. Some ppl have been getting emails from ME stating that Asus had contacted them. Hope no one here was looking for the champagne one.
One other thing. The stereo speakers... are on the right side under 1 grill. For those that really care about the audio this may bug you.
1st Gen docks don't work cause it had to be redesigned to match the shape of the prime.
Chances of going into the store and buying this is slim. It'll be like last year. Shortage. Amazon.com is cancelling preorders cause asus was only able to supply 1/2 their order. Posted via RS Mobile
