Roaming charge? Is it consider roaming if u text from princeton to Vancouver during business trip? How about using data on phone to surf Internet and check email? Can someone verify this? I know it's definitely roaming in the USA but I am still in bc Posted via RS Mobile |
May help if you post your provider as things like this generally differ between carriers. |

When you travel in Canada on the Rogers network you will not incur roaming charges (only airtime and long distance charges as applicable). Looks like you should be okay. Best to call and ask. Wait, were you staying put in Princeton OR were you travelling between locations? Because if you were travelling between locations, you may have hit a US tower and you'll be charged for that as it exits the coverage area. |
You only roam if you are being picked up by a US tower. If your phone says AT&T, then anything you are doing, ie SMS, calls, data, etc, will be subject to roaming fees. Posted via RS Mobile |
