Lol I've started countless threads on topic similar to his over the course of the past eight years. Lol. Mods dont change. They get replaced... eventually by, hopefully, less egotistical and more of a community serving mind set. And by that I mean they see themselves as equal to the user.
The best way is when they're recruiting to replace or expand, you really push the people that care to apply and support their effort. Too many mods have that "new cop" syndrome. Walk around with their imaginary big cocks swinging and their guns drawn ready to tackle anyone that slips.

I think the mods are allowing us to vent and when its calmed down the thread will vanish. This seems to always happen once a year or so.

Funny thing is that people care so much about fails. Thanks I understand, cause it's like good karma or rep points or what not. I think it means something kinda like you're a member of this community that carries his own weight. Fails though? People give them out so randomly, it's hard to care.

i wonder if everyone who thanked the OP will get points or ban? sometimes reading his posts, i dont know if hes arguing for the sake of arguing or what? He has his views, just dont like how he forces it on us and act all godly while doing it.
Anyways, we should appreciate what he does as an network admin. My brother used to be a network admin and its quite stressful when shit happens.
