That's because he is a dickhole. I'm reading his bio right now and the more I read the more I dislike him as a human being. Total bipolar OCD emo dickhead.

Steve Jobs was an asshole. Not really news.

SkinnyPupp 10-28-2011 08:07 PM

I guess that explains why apple fans are such dickholes

Glad to see I'm not alone. All I read out of that article, is that he's even more of an arrogant fuck that I originally thought.

With all due respect to a dead guy Steve Jobs seems like a douchey type of person (as a person in general)

Hehe 10-29-2011 08:19 AM

I think a person in Jobs' position can certainly pull off a lot of things *legally* beyond people's ability to replicate. Same goes to Gate's Porsche.

Oh, on the side note, with the arrival of BT4.0, that smart home thing in Gate's house? it's within consumer's reach.

So he doesn't have a plate for privacy reasons, yet always has the same new car...

So he's worried about privacy and anonymity...if he always has the same car and no plates, then isn't he just "the guy who drives around in the same car with no plates?"

How is that private and anonymous when you're the only dude who does that?

It would make sense if he constantly had a different kind of car...

Yeah when I was down in cali few years ago lots of cars drove around with no plates.

there's a lot of brand new cars on road with no plates in cali. not that uncommon. and jobs drove a silver SL55, they're like civics there.

underscore 10-31-2011 09:28 PM

Wouldn't it be easier and more effective to keep changing up the plates and park in different spots? Having the same car that never has a plate and parking in the same handicap spot every day? What an idiot.

Ya I found this out last week when I was down in Cali and my buddy was explaining it to me. There is a shit ton of cars down there with out plates (using dealer branded plates with no numbers), its not uncommon at all.

There are 2 ways to plate your car when you buy it.

1) Go to DMV and get plates. Apparently DMV's are few and far between, busy as hell (3 to 4 hrs waiting around), and dirty. People despise going there unless needed. It isn't like going to our local ICBC authorized resellers.

2) Submit car purchase documents to DMV, print off tiny little paper plate and carry it around with you. The DMV will mail you your plates in 3 to 6 months, at which time you can affix them. Until then, carry the paper plate around with you, and keep the dealerships 'branded' plate on.

Pretty much explained in the first post, but it was VERY common on the I5 to see cars with no tags.

Do they not have serious issues with hit and runs or something then?
