Stereo deck upgrade?

Hi my current stereo deck is kenwood kdc-x859 ( Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X859 CD/MP3 Receiver with CD Changer Controls at Crutchfield.com )

I noticed that the RMS power output is the same as the current year kenwoods at 22 watts, so I'm wondering if an upgrade to a newer gen kdc-x895 ( Kenwood Excelon KDC-X895 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com ) would make any difference in terms of sound quality.

Other than extra connectivity (ie.bluetooth, aux, usb) is there much point to an upgrade?

Thanks

There's a car audio section on RS.

Sound quality if using a CD probably won't make much diff. It's deck power afterall. Still has the similar amp, similar crossovers, similar EQ, etc etc.

If you're upgrading you're upgrading for the BT and the ipod control. Newer the deck the better the ipod interface and loadup times usually.
