House alarm installer recommendation?

I want to get someone to install a house alarm at my relatives house. It's an older house (50+ years old) and we want something basic with it monitored (motion and door sensor). Any recommendations? I heard a friend say Alarmforce isn't good because it depends on your phone line but I'm not sure if this is legit. I poked around google but I was wondering if you guys have some feedback. Did a quick forum search and most of the alarm feedback so far is geared towards maintenance. Thanks!

If you are planning to have it monitored by a security firm, i believe the alarms are free or close to being free. if your relatives want it unmonitored, i would suggest buying a wireless home alarm system, DSC makes them and u can just install it yourself.
