uhh ... Taxi to EDC from the strip?... isn't it close to an hour ride?... that would be insanely expensive!
Renting a car for 3 days would be like just over a hundred bucks ... I'm assuming one taxi ride alone will be close to a hundred bucks one-way ...
How is the parking at EDC? Lots of space? Is it free parking?

If you're only going down for one day just taxi it. Or shuttle there and taxi back.
Renting a car might be good if you're planning on staying in Vegas longer and doing shopping or whatever.

I know they have parking, but i'm not sure if it's free or not.

So you can just sell the last day (Sunday) and give them your admission card. You might have to give them a copy of your id though.

Are you allowed to bring water or food into the event or will they make you toss it at the entrance?
It's in the middle of the dessert lol I'll bet they want to make a killing of sales of bottled water.
I heard a few years back water was free?
