the issue with edc week is, how the fuck can we afford day clubs, pool parties, nightclubs?
it's too expensive for guys.

i was gonna purchase the avicii / gareth @ marquee ticket for 70 but it sold out and price went up to 100 :(

so we just buy the ticket and we are good to get in Tao? Hopefully they dont make us wait in line forever.

I heard its difficult for guys to get into any club like XS, Tao, or Marquee without doing a bottle... we got some quotes already but its like 8 bills for a bottle of goose at XS.

How many can get in if you do the bottle service?

Just grab girls along the way that are also going to TAOS that night, so you can cut the line even quicker without doing bottle service.

I'm confused too ... do we need to buy tickets to get into the Day Clubs (like a concert or event?) or just show up early and line-up (like a night club)?...

I'm eyeing Gareth and Avicii on Sunday at Marquee Day Club & Afrojack on Monday at Encore Beach Club ... any advice would help, thanks!

You need to buy tickets in advance for dj events right now.

from what i experienced last year when i went to tao night club for atb.
i bought my ticket in advance and had the will call option.
when i got to tao, there was a long ass line up. but we asked one of the bouncers there and hes like oh you guys have tickets? go line up here and they'll give you your ticket.
so we ended up in a shorter line.. and we got in within 20 minutes from when we got to tao.

the other (longer) line was apparently for people who just showed up to tao and didn't buy tickets in advance


for marquee day club, we bought pre-sale tickets for avicii.. when we got there. we had to go to a different booth to pick up our tickets.. and then i believe we joined into the line with the regular guests...

also.. for marquee.. if you go.. make sure you're wearing anything other than a WHITE beater.. they won't let you in and force you to buy a tshirt or something...

I was looking at that event too ... damn $100 for Day Club ... getting expensive, now I'm on the fence of if I should go. Also on the ticket page it says for the dresscode this event is:
"Gentlement must wear a collared, button-up shirt and dress shoes." ... seriously?... outdoors in 30+ degree weather?!...

So I've only got tickets for Afrojack & David Guetta at Encore Beach Club so far, $50 a pop so basically half the price of Avicii & Gareth ... athough I like Gareth's set... but $100 is pretty steep. Why is there such a big difference? All 4 of these DJ's are top names ... is it because of the venue?

I think we are going to go to Marquee day club for friday - matt zo and above and beyond.

I don't think there is a dress code for the day club. that might be for the night club?

$100 is too much for avicii. We are seeing him in july here so there's no point.

Avicii party is more cuz its at Marquee, hottest spot in vegas right now and their pool area is smaller than Encore Beach

If youre planning on hitting other events book tables or buy tickets now, vegas is normally packed on june weekends, its EDC and a Pacquiao fight that weekend...gonna be jammed!! gonna be EPIC!!!

Just got our tickets to Marquee Day club for Above and Beyond and Matt zo on June 8.

Tickets went up from $50 to $70 =( for guys and $20 to $40 for girls..

Oh well. Fcuk it It's going to be good times.

Is it all guys? Either you need to get a table or go SUPER early to get in, or pay a lot which is the same as bottle service.

Wow it's jacked up to $120 now?... it was $100 last I checked, and I heard it started at $70 ...

I was already hesitating when it was at $100, now for sure it's not worth it lol ... they will both be at EDC anyways ...
I got tix for Afro/Guetta at Encore (the club should be just as nice as Marquee, just not as "hip" right now), only $50 compared to the above though.
