Rogers Reception Crapping Out
 

Does anyone's rogers reception on their phone ever crap out on them? I would go from full bars to just one bar, and the phone call that im on will drop. It happens at random times, and a lot of times when im not on the phone its just at half bars.

Also, 3G internet will spike when im browsing and becomes unresponsive 10% of the time.

I'm using the iphone 4... maybe its the antenea issue? The bars will go back to full even though im holding the phone the same as when it dropped.

Amen. Laggy 3G. Sometimes cellphone-cellphone chats disconnect or really static. I'm paying for this shit which is tripled of what Mobil users are paying, I pretty much expect at least tripled the speed or service that Mobil provides.

And they say rogers is higher end for mobile connections.

They still think they are the shit when the world is moving forward, yet they feel they are still the best. Business is business and when one party isn't satisfied, it's time to have a little talk with rogers

I'm already at the point where I'm going to be dumping Rogers. Just waiting for confirmation on Koodo's data saver package update that should be coming out the 21st or 28th this month.

Rogers changed their name to the Canada's reliable network.

Fastest to most reliable. Yet, I don't see either anymore. Reliable is a really broad term compared to fastest

Hows telus, bell, koodo etc? Just now my 3g just dropped and its using edge.

I wonder how much of the service is due to the sheer number of users using Rogers. Text almost always goes down during big local events (ie: fireworks) and my friends have deadspots in the middle of seemingly strong coverage (ie: 54th and Victoria Dr.).

As much as a ripoff Telus has been I've been really happy with them for 11+ years..from their CDMA network until now.

Reliable network my ass. I've been having numerous text messaging issues with them for the past couple of months now. Not to mention the calls where I have a signal and everything, dial out... and it just... hangs...
