Hella shitty battery life.

You can't really say that without knowing what they did to it. Just cause it has more cores doesn't mean it will use more battery. Newer processors usually have lower/equal power usage to their predecessors.

Battery life is an afterthought for most manufacturers. They would rather keep increasing processing power, etc, because that's what sells phones. I will be very surprised if HTC does anything new or very effective to address the issue of battery life. And look at the fucking screen on this thing. It's huge. It's gonna drain hardcore, especially combined with that powerful hardware.

That's my prediction. At best, I think the battery life will match that of their dual core phones. Realistically, it's gonna be worse on this phone.

Battery life on my 4S is pretty brutal but as long as it can last a day.... who cares?

Berz out.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 proves otherwise. It is definitely more power efficient even though it has a bigger 4.3" screen and dual core processor compared to my old single core 3.7" HTC.

4.7" HD screen is huge!

The world of android is insane
How else do u think SGS2 can push 36hrs+ battery life. There are users on here that have done so already with their SGS2

The single core Nexus S can push to 36hrs+ OVERCLOCKED and thats single core. Im sure the SGS2 can do the same as well.

Never underestimate the power and flexibility of an android device.

We'll see when the phone comes out.

Apparently this beast has 5 cores. Tegra 3 has a companion core which would be in use most of the time, then when shit gets serious, the companion core switches up to the 4 other cores :fuckyea:
