BPA isn't an issue at all, except maybe for babies in specific circumstances

Yep, Health Canada's ruling stated that the amount of chemicals leeching into the water only posed a risk to infants - but most retailers bowed to public pressure and just started refunding old water bottles left right and centre.

Personally - that just meant a whole lot of cheap water bottles for me.

The new Nalgenes are BPA free - but from what I heard, they aren't as durable. And metal bottlles might be ok on a desk, but I'm not a fan of bringing them on a camping trip.

Personally I never understood the scare... I never put anything hot or warm in plastic containers. Only glass.

I stay away if at all possible. I have no desire to introduce estrogenic compounds into my body at any age. I'm nearing midlife times and already have itty bitty man titties I dont need help.
