I have a tire question if i go to a tire shop buy a set of brand new tires today, should i accept a set of tires manufactured 2 years ago? is it normal in vancouver? thanks |
Yes |
Wait what? From what I've been told by my auto teacher is that you should never buy nor use a tire that is 10+ years old. You'll be fine with those tires. Posted via RS Mobile |

What size of tires are you buying? If they are popular size I would ask for a newer set. For the last many sets of tires I bought (Volco, Fountain, Big O, etc.) 2 year was the longest. I use the 5 year rule, as it's one of the important parts of a car so I want it to be optimal, instead of using the "legal" or common sense criteria. It's your money, ask for the best. |
