Now I am not one to watch many Chinese movies due to the fact I can't follow it quickly enough so I must read the subtitles. Another due to the fact that I can't understand any mandarin at all. I probably watch only action movies and probably only once a year on a VCD if it's in Chinese.
I was able to watch this movie recently and I must say, it's a very good movie. Very touching and sweet and brings you back to your old highschool/uni days. I couldn't really relate since school life in Canada is totally opposite to how it's portrayed in the movie (It's a Taiwanese movie) but overall I really enjoyed watching it.
Anyone else see it? Is it out in Canada? Not sure, but I am sure there are other RS members here in Asia.
Recommend it to watch with your sweetheart.

i'm going to buy the dvd when it comes out, no way am i downloading it. It should be a good movie so i rather own the dvd.

Don't think you can DL plus if you can't listen to chinese, would need the subtitles. Nevertheless, great movie! Very sweet and brings back good memories.

What store do you buy it from? The only legit place I found is the music/video store in Union Square by Yaohan.

It was OK I like action movies more so this whole romatic thing wasn't that interested to me........ or could be the version I downloaded is terrible lol.

I rarely venture to this area of the forums but thought I should say I watched this movie with the gf about two weeks ago (I loved the song 那些年 which led me to watch this movie) and I thought it was pretty good. I didn't love it but my gf sure did.
It definitely made me reminisce about high school which were the best years of my life. I don't want to say too much but IMO the ending was sort of a let down for me because I was like "...that's it?" Either way, I would recommend this movie to people.
