I get business class for all my flights due to my work, but when I take the wife on business trips with me I only buy her biz class if the flight has a bed seat. Otherwise it's not worth it. Best business class in North America by far is Air Canada. So yeah, for long flights, do it. |
British Airways economy is badddd it was only $260 to upgrade to their world travllers recliners next time i'd say id do it for sure |

i find air canada has the best price's too. from yvr to tokyo japan Business class was about 6 grand compared to the 11k,10k other airline's were asking. |
try collecting aeroplan points, apparently the value of upgrading to first class with points is far less than using actual cash to purchase the upgrade.. haven't tried it myself... yet |
With China Airlines or Eva Airlines, I always pay $1500~$2000 (depending on the season) more for an upgrade to business class. I would say $2500 is a bit too much for myself. Good luck! |
I forgot to mention that the price I'm talking about there is flying to Taiwan. |
Meh... I flew 13 hours to Germany in economy and the flight was over faster than I realized. I could spend $2500 on plenty of better things... |
I've only flown business class once, and it was to Fiji for my honeymoon (airplane tickets were wedding gift from my parents). It was a godsend...I had to fly to Australia earlier this year in Economy and I wish I had the money for business class seats, such a painful flight... |
if money is no issue then yes. otherwise just enjoy it the odd time you get upgraded for free. if you're doing a longer flight on united or another north american airline, sometimes economy+ is worth the money. gives you like 6" of extra legroom or something, which is almost like guaranteeing an emergency row seat, except when the plane crashes you arent obligated to help for shit! |
depends on the length of the flight and what aircraft it is. flew business on a british airways 747-400 and it was pretty damn good. enough room to completely lie down and you have your own little hub that separates you from everybody else. http://www.maldivesdivetravel.com/ma...sh-Airways.jpg |
